The location was central to the town,20 minutes walk or 7euros taxi ride from the railway station. The staff were friendly and the early breakfast selection was good.Hot drinks were self service from a machine, but fine. The bedroom was compact and the ensuite shower and loo tiny although the shower was very efficient.Beds were comfortable ,bedroom decor was dated. We were fine... The Hotel Geyer is close to the Old Town and it is very clean, but that is all that this hotel has going for it. It is, what I would describe as, very basic. We expected much much more for the price of our stay. Our room was located right on the top floor, which was a real struggle with... More

I can highly recommend this hotel to other travellers. We only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer. Yes, there is no lift, so you need to be a little athletic to get your luggage up the stairs but as we have travelled around Europe this is not uncommon in the smaller hotels. We had an... More

Clean and comfortable beds; basic toiletries; rather impersonal interior decoration; generally just a decent kind of accommodation, especially when too tired. Wi-fi does not work in the rooms; not recommended for business people! Rather expensive for the services rendered. If as a traveller you have a handy option, you'd better give yourselves something more for the same charge (100 euro... More

Looking for a nice Hotel with parking facilities in the center of Klagenfurt (not easy to find!) we luckily found Hotel Geyer. A perfect hotel with a beautiful lobby and very nice lady at the reception desk. She turned out to be the owner and she made our stay worthwhile ! Nice rooms and perfect service at a very reasonable... More

I highly recommend this hotel for the charming ambiance as well as the kind staff that made us feel so welcome. Our room was clean and it was very peaceful at night. We were in town to visit family but we stayed for breakfast and we will definitely be making this a routine in the future.

Right in the city centre, very cheap privat parking. Nicely decorated rooms and perfect breakfast! But the best asset of Hotel Geyer is the beautifull Astrid, owner of the Hotel sitting at the reception desk and makeing you feel at home right away! We will be back !

My partner and I stayed here for a couple of days and were pleasantly surprised by the hotel and also its excellent location. It's an older style building with a non-descript exterior, but it is very nicely presented inside. Our room was very comfortable and nicely furnished. Not overly spacious but perfect for our needs. The breakfast is really very... More

After a lovely stay here some years ago, we returned this summer to rekindle memories of the exceptional hospitality, the location, the ambience and cleanliness. Breakfast on the beautiful garden veranda was a highlight, as was the superb buffet selection. The rooms have been tastefully upgraded and redecorated since our last stay. They are well appointed and we found them... More
