The rooms are a little small but very good value and very clean. The buffet breakfast was very good. The hotel is a 5 min walk from the train station and is very conveniently located for getting around Graz. It is fairly easy finding a tram. Hotel is in the old building and has no A/C. On the extremely hot... More

Well priced, but not suitable if you are travelling from May to September - rooms are not air conditioned, we had to open the window and there was too much traffic noise. Very unprofessional receptionist gave me damaged room card and as I couldn't enter to my room, I went back to ask for another. She accused me that I... More

The breakfast was ok but we dont really eat breakfast so just had a roll and coffee. Would recommend for the price and the hotel is traditional Austrian decor.... More

This hotel is situated within walking distance of Graz main railway station which was great for us arriving by train. A 20-minute walk takes you to the Old Town or just catch a tram. Hotel Strasser is beautifully decorated with lovely paintings and elegant furnishings. Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable with a luxurious bathroom. The buffet breakfast... More

Since i am a solo female traveller, safety is very important to me. After reading mixed reviews of this hotel, i was very surprised when i arrive there and saw this property. First its very near the train station. Go out of the main exit, cross the street, and walk to your right along the eggenberger gurtel, after 300 meters,... More

Within walking distance of the river and old town as well as by tram. Idiosyncratic public areas but OK. Our stay was let down by the lack of blackout curtains/curtain liner and a bright key light control unit. It really was a bit bright at night. In October our street facing window was shut and so noise was not a... More
