We stayed in this hotel for a few nights while my husband was at a conference. It is an 'art' hotel, with lots of art hanging in the public areas and in the rooms. It is very well run, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and beautiful (in a very modern way) to look at. There is a lovely indoor pool with... more

There is not much more to be said about this hotel after reading all the other reviews, this is an excellent hotel just on the edge of the old town. It has modern, spacious, rooms, a pool, sauna, gym and a wonderful view off the roof balcony overlooking everywhere else. We sat up here for an hour or two in... more

This is an extraordinary hotel. We had a room in the "annex" that occupied the entire sixth floor of the small building and included a spacious bath, anteroom, and very large bedroom. The room was immaculately clean. I believe this is the first five-star rating I've given on Trip Advisor. I recommend the Augarten highly. more

This was one of the most pleasant stays I've had on my travels throughout Europe on business. As other reviews point out, the Augarten is not located in the centre of Graz, but if you're tired and travel-weary, you might not want to go strolling around the town anyway. And if you're lucky enough to be staying at the Augarten,... more

Stayed at the Augarten for a celebration weekend in Graz. Reception staff are very helpful, booking restaurants in advance and taking care of a welcome bottle of champagne in the room on arrival. Decor is slick modern. The large rooms really are large and well equipped. Good bathroom with ample hot water and good quality shower. Breakfast is buffet, however... more

After several years of visiting the German Xmas markets, this year we opted to visit Graz in Austria on 14th December for a 'get you in the Xmas mood' weekend trip. We could not have chosen a better hotel to stay in. It was a pleasant 10 min stroll into the heart of the old town, so a great location.... more

I stayed at the Augarten for two nights, having made my selection largely based on other reviews I read on Tripadvisor, and I was very pleased. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area about a 15-minute walk from the old town and tourist areas. The building is very modern and beautifully decorated. My room was very comfortable, clean... more

We stayed at the Augarten for 2 nights in June and it seemed virtually deserted. A real shame because the hotel is very good, and Graz is worth a couple of days of anyones time. The staff are friendly and helpful. The leisure facilities including the pool are great. Our room was huge, modern and stunning. The hotel is affiliated... more

I had heard a lot about this hotel from my spouse, who extensively travels for business. Given that he and I look for different things in a hotel experience (for him it’s efficiency and razor-sharp response to any request; for me it’s laid back, relaxed, and informal), I wasn’t looking forward to spending a few days with him in Graz,... more

The Augarten is a Gem of a Hotel. It's far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be an island of tranquility, but it's only a short walk to the transportation hub for Graz, Austria's second largest city. The building is ultra modern, sleek, and Scandinavian in appearance. Sporting lots of large windows, it is quite bright on even... more
