Sadly, Graz tourism says its a 5 star, but its definitely not one. Great decor at reception area and jazz brunch is good too, but rooms not that good. Very small suites and WC in bath room- not that 5star like! But nevertheless, the location is over the top- there isnt a better location for a hotel! more

This is a beautiful hotel with art deco design, located right across the river from the Old Town, shops and cafes. I say "probably" , as I have not stayed in every hotel in Graz......Yet! The location, interior decor, and general "Old World Charm" of this fine establishment would sure take some beating! The hotel location is the only advatage, it is on the river and cross the river (5 minutes walk) the city center with all shopping and dinning choices. the hotel is style and furniture is OLD(80's style) and need to be refurbished, the building is from the 19th Century where you can see the high selling. the room is big... more
