With Mercure what you see is what you get. An unremarkable hotel in an unremarkable suburb, but pleasant enough and I would probably stay there again. Plusses: very clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast selection, good internet deals. Minuses: 10 minute tram ride into town, characterless restaurant. more

I stayed in this hotel on a business trip, working at the Stadthalle exhibition centre. My check-in was efficient and friendly and I was given a first-floor room. Once in the room I realised that it was clearly a smoking room and the smell was quite strong, so I asked to be moved which the receptionist declined, making me feel... more

Haven`t stayed at a Mercure before and were quite impressed. This hotel is located about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Graz, but there is a tram stop 1 block away. The room was clean and tidy. My girlfriend and I stayed here two weeks ago...its a lovely hotel with nice clean modern rooms ...and great value...the staff were very pleasant and helpful...we walked from the hotel into the city centre in 10 minutes...would stay here again more

Excellent value/money ratio. The many delicious products of the traditional Graz bakeries are the theme of this Mercure. You really deserve such a breakfast experience ! Large rooms, very friendly staff. Looking down from the balcony you will see a lot of green, trees etc. But do not be fainthearted: it is a cemetery. The location "close to the fairgrounds"... more

Stayed for 2 nights in Mercure Graz and had a wonderful time. Graz is a beautiful city with excellent restaurants and nightlife. Hotel Mercure is about 20 minutes walk from the town centre, but Tram number 6 takes 5 minutes to get to Jacomiplatz which is where all the shops, restaurants and bars are. Very modern, new hotel. Large rooms, each with a balcony. Of course, rooms at the back of the hotel have much quieter balconies. Parking in the garage for €10 per day. Free parking on hotel grounds at the other side of the road. Plenty of parking space. Airco worked fine, but made some noise. Airco is individually controllable. One free... more
