Stayed 1 night in transit. Well situated in the centre of Wels and easy to find from the autoroute. There is a large parking area at the rear but mostly taken by guests to the restaurant if you arrive late, we managed to find a last spot at around 1800 mid week. Traditional Gasthof in every sense. “Good place to eat, but not to stay.”

We were given a room directly above the restaurant. Since there was no air conditioning, we had to open the windows. But the noise and smell from the restaurant below was too much for us. It wasnt a pleasant evening. Terrific patio area for eating and great food, buti would never stay here again.
