Despite being on the city's main square, hotel is comfortable and quiet (might be best to avoid rooms at the front) apart from the noise of suitcases being wheeled along the external corridors. Slightly old fashioned decor but helpful staff, including restaurant suggestions. Spoke good English, excellent selection of breads at breakfast. more

No major complaints but the only major positive for this hotel located in a busy section of Linz was that it was close to shopping and the Danube. It's an old hotel, which adds some charm. I've just returned from my second stay in the Wolfinger. We stayed there last December and were thrilled with it. This time it wasn't so good.
