Rooms are spacious (included a couch, chair, desk and small table in addition to two night stands) but the television has only one English-speaking channel (CNN). Shower was large but the shower floor was very slippery and dangerous.Like others, we did not like the pillows.Breakfast room was quite attractive with paintings and portraits providing old world charm. The breakfast buffet... More

The hotel is in a great location, on the main square. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. We had a room on floor two overlooking the square. As the room was quite warm we chose to open the window while sleeping. The noise from the square was loud well past midnight with all kinds of yelling,... More

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The spacious and well decorated room I had was clean, and unlike what it said in the room description, it didn't just have a shower, but also a bath tub, which I appreciate. The beds were comfortable, as was the pillow, nothing to complain there. What I didn't like is that I specifically... More

From my point of view the only negatives about this hotel is the stairs (no elevator) from street level to reception, and the terrible pillows. Everything else was perfect during the two nights that I stayed there. I had a single room, but it came with a comfortable queen bed and windows that opened towards the town square with all... More

The location of this hotel is amazing, right in the centre of Linz. Charming hotel and wonderful, helpful reception staff. We asked for a quiet room and our room was silent, right at the back. Super breakfast and great facilities for cyclists.

The hotel is beautiful, charming, and historic. We had a lovely room with a large updated bathroom. The outdoor corridors were very charming, adorned with flowers and interesting antiques. The restaurant is beautiful and breakfast buffet amazing! The hotel is family-owned, and the staff is very helpful, friendly, and informative.

My wife, college-aged daughter and I spent two nights in this charming, old-world hotel during the last week of August. The room was large and spacious, the beds very comfortable, the bathrooms modern and up-to-date, and the service was impeccable. When you stay at a chain-you might as well be sleeping in Cleveland. The building exudes class and ambience and... More

We stayed here on our Danube cycling holiday and it is a lovely hotel in the main square. Really easy access from the Danube and near all the sights and restaurants. The rooms are large and spacious and light, the hotel is full of character and charm and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Good bike storage and excellent... More

Great location right on the main square. Really charming hotel, with old-fashioned charming interiors. We had a huge room with a comfy bed and a huge sofa. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Only negative was the curtains were very thin, so the room became very bright very early in the morning (we stayed in August)!

The Hotel Wolfinger is situated in the main square, Central Linz. The building looks good from the outside and the inside is nicely furnished with a great stone walkway leading you to some of the rooms. Unfortunately, there is no lift from street level and the reception is on the first floor, so be prepared to haul suitcases up stairs... More
