We chose to stay at the Novotel Linz as it was near the autobahn and the tripadvisor reviews were ok. We regret it and moved to the neighbouring Youthotel at half the price for the second night. It took us ages to find the hotel so would advise having good map. Hotel was to the usual Novotel standard and was ideal for a stop over. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff friendly and courteous. Food a little disappointing and would probably eat out if staying here again. more

The only real pluspoint in this hotel were the friendly and attentive receptionists. The lift door on the way up to the room trying to get us, closing quickly before we can escape from the elevator. Reassonably priced hotel - perfectly acceptable for a stopover or business. Pool small and not much space around it. Breakfast could have been better - but was satisfactory. Very clean and soundproof. Just what you would expect from a Novotel. Would stay there again as a stopover - but not a holiday. more

The Novotel Linz was very comfortable but as a tourist I wouldn't go back to Linz, it's quite industrial. The Novotel is about a 5 minute drive to the pretty part of Linz near the cathedral.
