My husband and I were on a private bike tour of the Danube into Vienna. We upgraded our reservation here and had a Junior suite on the top floor overlooking the cathedral. It was fabulous. So beautiful, so modern, very comfortable once you figure out all the high tech features. Loved it!

We enjoyed our stay here, if only for one night. The rooms was a good size, very clean with a large separate toilet and nicely designed bathroom. Unfortunately shower over bath only in 2nd highest category room (Superior) which is a shame. Breakfast was nice with lots of choices. The bar is under renovation as other reviewers have said -... Hotel is next to the main cathedral (hence the name I suppose). It has a fashionable/trendy design which seems to work. The rooms are spacious enough and have nice en-suite facilities. One wall of the room is glass and has an electric (outside) blind which is probably needed in warm weather to block direct sunlight. Restaurant/bar were both closed as... More

Upon reporting a problem with the door to our room (The locking mechanism was broken). After reporting this to the reception, it still took over 30 mins (with a hungry crying baby this felt like a lifetime) before they gave us another room. I put this down to an obvious lack of available staff. The modern, fresh, clean lines of... More

We stayed there in December on our way to Spitz-Switzerland.Is was really cozy and we loved the location right next to the cathedral. The receptionist was a young lady, I found her a bit too distracted but all in all the experience was OK because the rooms were clean, modern and the breakfast was delicious. It is also really near... More

The location certainly is not bad, bug the service and dedication of staff is kind of sloppy. It seems the hotel mgt changed tii often in the last few years. The receptionist was not very helpful and kind of post-communist, although the hotel belongs to the catholic church... Not impressed really!

On arrival was told I was being put in different building because of hotel full of meetings clientele. Slightly disappointed cos the DOM view room I was looking forward to was no more. But maybe I was saved from the early morning bells! The room was large and bright with nice modern Austrian furnishings mostly white. Still it had a... More

Very friendly and helpful stuff. The reception girls were very nice and friendly. Thank you Mrs. Sophie, Giti and Elena. The hotel manager came out and wished me a great stay. I will sure come back!! The breakfast was excellent.

The worst reception service ever. Don't be fooled by fancy website, cool interiors or promotions. No internet signal in 2nd floor room. Had to sit in hallway. Only plug to charge laptop is in bathroom next to the sink. Zero in-room amenities for a "Superior Room". Bad attitude with girl at reception - horrible single beds pushed together to make... More

Traveling with our young son, we opted for the junior suite with an extra bed. The room was reasonably spacious with a decent view of the Cathedral. With floor to ceiling glass external and bathroom walls, a significant design flaw is that the curtains do not provide sufficient cover to block external light. This results in the bedroom and sitting... More
