I’m saddened by the preceding review, what bad luck. I booked on-line about 3 months before and there was no problem. This long-established independent family run hotel is just outside Krems; in Stein, and this makes it ideal to explore the Wachau, Kremstal and Kamptal wine regions, without enduring the busy city of Krems itself. I took holiday to Krems Au for the Donau Festival that they have every year. The hotel is located at the western end of Stein, which is in itself the western part of the city of Krems (in itself well worth a visit).
