Delicious and fine restaurant with very tasty things. I suggest the garlic soup and then the goulash, a very great one. The restaurant is alongside a fresh creek, so you can stay also outside on the roaring water; they have a large (but very expensive) choice of wines but. Price are medium, but very reasonable if you consider the quality... More

Arrived from a bike trip. Front of hotel would not even try to help us. She said after third attempt I have sore foot. She gave me directions to lock bike up , but having not been there before I misunderstood the directions - she actually rolled her eyes and huffed. I apologized I was disturbing her and such a... We did not stay at hotel but ate at restaurant for dinner - delightful setting by brook. Very good service, spritz, red wine - Volcano Weingut Hans Igler Eur 39 Wiener Schnitzel and Saibling fish. Quiet conversations only at adjoining tables such a pleasure. Eur 77 Traveled as a (mature age Australian) couple for seven weeks in Europe in July/August... More

Very small room on wrong side of hotel. Facing noisy street. Penultimate nite of a seven day bike ride down the Danube. Had to lug bag up two flights of stairs. Just as well we left one downstairs. It wouldn't have fitted. Really hot and no aircon. We ate elsewhere. An unpleasant experience all round.

Stayed for two nights - at the start and end of a week in the Wachau Valley. Find it hard to be overly positive about this establishment. The Hotel is in two sections but located close together. We stayed in the older section where a good restaurant is located. Rooms were outwardly OK but services fairly basic but walls of... More

Good, clean, simple, great staff and wonderful breakfasts. Our shower head did not work very well and the hair dryers are sort of useless. But the staff were really nice and very very helpful, even organised for a bottle of bubbly to await our arrival as was a birthday celebration.

Very nice hotel in Krems, easy to find after cycling through Wachau valley. Easy to find and close to railway station. Good storage for bicycles. Restaurant in Gasthopf very good. Near pedestrian section of Krems. Breakfast was þvery good and staff were very helpful. Would recommend for those doing Donauradweig.

Very nice stay - stayed in the Hotel (belonging to the adjoining Gasthof) - very friendly and helpful personnel, excellent breakfast. Restaurant in the adjoining Gasthof 'Klinglhuber' serves excellent meals - "super Küche". It is not right in the very downtown (5 minutes walk to pedestrian area with all the shops and cafés) but very close to downtown Krems and... More

We stayed at the older of the 2 sister hotels. The room was simple but clean and comfortable. We had a delicious fish meal that night and the choice at breakfast was superb. One of the hosts went to some trouble to get information for us about a concert the following night.

We stayed at the newer part of the hotel (we didn't get to choose as it was booked through a travel agent). The hotel is very well located, just at the edge of the beautiful old town of Krems. The room was OK in his size, clean, but we couldn't quite understand the idea of the window in the bathroom... More
