We visited for the midsummer night festivities which made this hotel a great choice as it was walking distance to the Danube. The hotel, I would say, is actually in Stein which is part of Krems and therefore is quite a walk to the old town, which didn't bother us as we had a car. This explains previous reviews As... More

good location, close to the Danube port, a bit to far for a walk to the old Krems. Modern, with some special (art) touch, some rooms with small terrace (note very intimate). Special concept of the bathroom - without doors in my room, but interesting. Breakfast with good selection of food... Wi-fi ? - yes, but you have to pay... More

This hotel was part of a cycling tour of the Danube. Our room used every inch of space with careful thought. It was a very small room but it had very nice beds and a nice bathroom. The shower had no door which made it rather chilly. Breakfast was very nice and the staff were very friendly.

Staff at reception was perfect, efficient and smiling. My room was clean, well organized and quiet. The bed was excellent and the temperature of the room was optimal. Breakfast is good and diverse. Only flaw would be absence of wifi in the rooms, one has to go in the lobby to enjoy the internet. This is not a charming hotel,... More

Hotel lies directly accross from the Danube University Krems. Ideal for meeting/conferences there. Room (I had a "Tower Suite") was quite big and airy. They try to be a art hotel, but I guess that's a subjective thing... Breakfast was OK, but nothing to write home about. Rooms toward the street can be a bit noisy. It's only a short... More

The hotel interior looked more like a factory. However the worst feature was the acoustics. We could hear the guests in the next room talk, take a shower and go to the toilet! The hotel does not have a restaurant and the breakfast buffet is very mediocre. The staff were pleasant and tried to be helpful. Not a comfortable place... More

Compact rooms with a comfortable bed which we needed after riding. The room was air-conditioned which in the unseasonably warm weather we had was a big plus. Really reminded me of university dorm accommodation. Wifi only in reception was a downside. Staff were friendly and it was a good location from which to explore Krems. Dinner was included but it... very modern, three story, hotel with wifi only in lobby. Large rooms with plenty of electrical outlets, very good shower, and temperature control. Very good breakfast, with many bicyclers staying overnight.

I have now spent three nights at this hotel on trips in June, 2010, and July, 2013. It is my choice in this part of Austria, because it is so well run. Ultramodern accommodations include hard-wired Internet in the rooms, and a well-equipped exercise room and spa. The folks at Reception could not have been more accommodating, and friendly. The... This was the last stopover on our Danube bike tour which provided a large variety of accommodation - this was certainly the most modern. The rooms are bright and very ‘groovy’ but I would say over-engineered - focusing on style over function. It took us a while to figure out how everything worked (lights, shower etc.) As others have said,... More
