Basics first: no matters or pillow protectors: perhaps bring your own unless you enjoy stewing in other people's juices. Also the door didn't close, at least not easily. I returner one evening to find it open. FFS! I asked front of desk to close it for me after attempting several times. The reply: "So it will reassure you for me... More

Had to be near the port for a week and ended up staying here given there are only limited choices of hotels in this area. The location is great - 5 mins walk to the port, easily accessible to the train station (there is an exit at the back of the hotel) and direct bus to Nice airport (just across... More

On an overnight to Monte Carlo and sadly ended up here! Clearly very dated the decor carpets elevator etc something left over from the 1960's even the shower we were told to run the tap for at least 10 minutes before using it. The only plus is the location is minutes from the port and all that fabulous Monte Carlo... More

First I have to say I didn't pick up the bill for my stay so can't comment on the value. Very handy for the port but the downside is the traffic noise. Rooms very small and you need to be slim to get in the shower cubicle. I was at the end of the corridor which may account for the... More

hotel is very central & very well located. The young guy at breakfast is a nice guy. Other than that you better find a different place. ... We have been litteraly raped with extra charges. Ridicolous.

I cannot fault this place. I paid €70 a night, the bed was clean, as too the bathroom and was of an ok size. The location was great and I walked everywhere. I did find Monaco a little pricey so to find a nice cheap bed was good. I didn't spend much time in the hotel as I was out... More

We stayed here for 2 nights at the weekend as I was doing the Monaco 70.3 Ironman Triathlon. The hotel is fairly small, as was our room. The bedroom was only a little bigger than the double bed, but enough room for our bags (and I had a big one with a bike in) and there was a desk and... More

probably the cheapest hotel to stay in Monaco and at a decent location. the staff was pretty friendly; the room was very outdated and had no air condition. there was a leak in the bathroom sink and top of the shower head reached my shoulders. as for breakfast, you get one croissant and coffee like many European hotels. i probably... Monaco is really short of budget hotels. I stayed here for 1 night only, after having spent a night at an alternate property. Hotel Versailles is on a street near "the Rock" (where the Palace and old town are), the train station, and the main port. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the Casino (where the luxury hotels are all...
