Stayed for business in March. The hotel is a mere minute walk from the Helipad so location is good. Was able to check in early and into a small but clean room on the 8th floor, complete with the world's smallest balcony. As I was I Monaco for business I didn't get to sample all the delights of the hotel.... more

We spent 3nights\4days at the Columbas and had a fab time. The hotel and rooms were immaculate with a full change of bedding and towels every day,we couldnt fault the cleanliness. Our room however didnt have a balcony which was a bit disappointing but we had a good view of the surrounding area and the Rose Garden and Heliport and could... more

Monaco is divided into a few areas. The most popular one is Monte Carlo. This hotel is located in Fonteville which is a residential area and about 20-30 minutes walk from Monte Carlo. Elevators help a lot. They are everywhere in Monaco as all roads go up and down all the time. The hotel itself is good but a bit... more

We stayed in the Columbus for 3 nights between Christmas and new year for our first wedding anniversary. We booked a delux room through www.monte-carlohotels.com. The service we recieved both from the booking agent and the hotel were brilliant. The room was beautifully kept, with double balconies overlooking the sea. It had everything you could ever need including 2 TVs... more

Excellent hotel and so close to the Heliport. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and good. We had a de lux room with a large balconie overlooking one of the many beautiful gardens in Monaco. Takes about 30 mins to walk to the Casino Square but it is such a lovely walk that was not a problem. Ate... more

We stayed here for 2 days and it was wonderful. The concierge, Patrick is brilliant - he knows where to recommend to eat for all budgets, will organise taxis and book restaurants - nothing was too much for him. The room (716) was lovely with a balcony and view to the pool and the Med with a iron and board... more

Although Monaco is a small place, the Columbus is still slightly out of the way and a reasonable walk to where the centre. Although I guess this is reflected in the price. That said it is a nice hotel. It's not amazing by any stretch of the imagination, but has a nice bar and food area, plus very friendly helpful... more

I have just returned from 3 days staying at this Hotel. It is tucked away in a super location away from the hustle and bustle of Monte Carlo in Fontvielle. We took the Helicopter flight from Nice Airport to and from the Hotel which is just 2 mins from the Hotel. An absolust must. The pool at the Hotel which... more
