We stayed one night in the Presidential Suite, and would have loved to have stayed a week or a month! The grounds and chateau are stunning and have an authentic history. There is a relaxing pool. The exotic tree collection throughout the acres of land is truly astonishing. The food and wine were superb and nothing was too much trouble.... More

Our family of four stayed for a few nights in the chateau - within easy of of many lovely local spots. The owner was very keen to help us enjoy our holiday, she packed us a picnic basket when we wanted to lunch by a local river, and drew a route on a map for our bike rides to the... More

We stayed at Chateau Le Mas de Montet for three nights. it was a delight and is to be thoroughly recommended. The magic of the chateau's magnificent architecture is complemented by its setting in the large, fairy tale grounds with a wonderful selection of trees, shrubs and flowers. Take a camera - you'll have enough screensavers to last you a... More

Having stayed in a number of French Chateau's with a fading interior, we were delighted to stay at this beautiful Chateau! Le Mas de Montet has been lovely restored to a very high level of quality and comfort. Our room, which over looked the pool was big and furnished with a large sitting area, lovely furniture, beautiful four poster bed... More

This chateau hotel lived up to its promise and delivered a bit more. The staff were top notch, smart but not stuffy, obliging but not overfriendly, there when you needed them but not in your face. If there was 6 stars for service, they would have received it. Equally the restaurant deserved a special mention - we ate there each... More

We have visited the Chateau for about 12 years now and had some interesting experiences over the years, but always had good food, but sometimes mediocre service.. However today we have just returned from their amazing Sunday lunch, where we had the 22 Euro menu. The choice was limited- two starters, two mains and two deserts to choose from, but... More

Wonderful chateau, highly recommended - my sister came here for her wedding reception and everything was perfect : the food, the service, the place ! The bedrooms and bathrooms are gorgeous, the park is beautiful, and we were made to feel so welcome.

Stayed for a Week-end in the Mitterrand suite ( Francois Mitterrand apparently stayed here for his holidays ) , A superb suite , with four poster bed , with views over the pool and gardens . The food was very good and staff very pleasant , excellent wine but a little expensive . Excellent for a romantic week-end .

Didn't stay here but had dinner here. €32 for 4 courses plus appetiser and pre-dessert. Good quality ingredients as well - fois gras and rose veal. Chateau is in immaculate condition and when we ate here all the diners were French. A rarity in this part of France. Only negatives were wine was a tad expensive and main course was... More
