We booked for one day to use the showers while waiting for our late flight home. The hotel in stuck in a time warp 70s 80s. The lift wasn't working. The bath had mouldy sealant round the edge. The room had a double bed and a single bed making the space limited. The TV was the size of an A4... More

A very dated hotel where few of the staff speak limited English and some speak none. This made communicating our needs and wants very tricky. It has much potential in a traditional Cypriot town with many shops and restaurants close by. The breakfast is continental and the food menu is limited. The drinks are hotel prices. My advice would be to... More

This is a lovely, quiet, family run hotel with an excellent pool and mature garden. The town is only a short walk away with bars, cafes and great restaurants. The Akamas and the Baths of Aphrodite are close by and trips can be arranged. I visit this hotel for its quiet, relaxed atmosphere. The bedrooms are comfortable and clean with... More

The Marion is a traditionally run family hotel. We love it for its friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. You can easily walk into the small town of Polis. The price reflects the facilities available but the rooms are comfortable and flat screen tvs have recently been added. There is a large swimming pool set in a mature garden. We stayed... More

The Marion Hotel was once a Grand Hotel but now it has clearly seen better days and appears very run down in both furnishing and plumbing. There have been some attempts to modernise the bedrooms by installing a (tiny) flat screen television and one or two new lights but the overall impression is of shabbiness. Unfortunately, we arrived in the... More

Excellent base to explore the Akamas Peninsula. Hotel is clean and quiet. Powerful hot showers. Nice dinners! Hourly bus service (1.5 Euro) to the Baths of Aphrodite where two 7.5kms circular trails begin, the Aphrodite and the less trodden but just as pleasant, Adonis trail. I also got off the bus today before the end and walked up the hill... More

The hotel is old but well kept and very clean. It is a family run hotel which is not bad unless you have your grandchildren working there from the morning till late in the night. The kids were very friendly and helpful. The old man-owner of the hotel- was vert cranky, didnt even want to switch on the lights at... More

Stayed at this property for 2 nights. Location is very good being in the town. Building and therefore rooms are surely outdated. Beds were of better of quality and sleep was ok. It was clean. Breakfast was simple. Management was polite and addressed our needs. Hotel has adequate parking places and is quite. Sea view possible depending on the room.... More
