We visited in late August and got a great deal on a family room with mountain views through Expedia. The staff were all incredibly helpful and we found the terrace a wondeful place to relax with all the greenery overlooking the 25 m outdoor pool. The outdoor pool isn't heated (there is an indoor pool closed in the Summer) but... More

We loved the owners, they were giving an extra tip of ELEGANCE in the... More

The best thing about the hotel is its location - so much green, great views. You can tell that when the hotel was built (some 70 years ago) it was then a fantastic project. But now it is crying for renovation. The outdoor pool is good. Breakfast is very average. If it was renovated and facilities were upgraded it would... More

This hotel assimilates the traditional with the (relatively) modern. The veranda of the hotel is all the money. With beautiful view and good quality of drinks and food. As an old romantic I would prefer to stay and did stay in one of the older rooms though the more recently renovated ones are not to be dismissed.

This is a very old hotel but every year they are renovating bits of the hotel, always during the winter so that everything will be ready for summer time. Everybody is just so friendly , you can do so many things drive around Troodos mountains , walk around the different trails or just sit at the hotel veranda and admire... More

Lovely Old fashioned mountain hotel with decent rooms’ accommodation and fantastic green surrounding forest. The pool and the playground territory make the hotel family-friendly. The personnel is very friendly and happy to assist the guests. Breakfast is generous and inviting, especially at the terrace sitting. Saturday evening a life music program entertains the guests. Downside: 1) The TV in the... More

Yes it is a gem on the mountain top,Wow what a nice hotel.Majestically run by Mr Herculer, the 70 year old young man with lots of talents. When you enter this hotel you are entering in a history of royalties who have stayed in past in this hotel, you must go there to find out .you are not going to be disappointed... More

The Forest Park is a nice hotel deep in the pine woods... Located near a small mountainous community, it is the perfect location to relax... When it was built in the 1950s it used to be a luxurious establishment, visited by kings, governors and diplomats whose pictures decorate the walls of the lobby.... Nowadays, it is indeed well maintained (for... More

It is still a great hotel but going there is like stepping back in time and not in a good way. It still has probably the best location in Platres and it remains an historic hotel which is well worth a visit but it is great need of investment and maintenance. The terrace is just wonderful and I make a... More
