We stayed at the Dionysos in April. The hotel is situated in the very heart of Paphos harbour so great if you want to be near the shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel is small, boutique style and we had a triple room at the back of the hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely furnished. The air conditioning... More

As its title suggests the hotel is central, so off season it's quieter in the area than high season. We had an annex room which was adequate, private bathroom and balcony. The food was good quality if not repetitive food choices. The restaurant area is very pleasant as are the grounds and pool. Staff were brilliant, very friendly and courteous.

I have given one star for the location and one star for the nice breakfast. Everything else was disappointing, though. We were apparently given a "deluxe" room, but we did not quite figure out what was so deluxe about it! The room itself was ok but very small; there was only one chair in the room; there were no toiletries... More

Although initially disappointed with my room, by the end of the week it had grown on me. It was clean and spacious, but rather basic and dated decor. My problem was that I was in the annexe which has not been updated. If you're in the main block, you'll be OK as these rooms are modern and quite impressive. My... More

Food was acceptable for the price but not fantastic. We found breakfast was the best, evening meals were enjoyable but could do with an update. The room we had overlooking the pool and with a sea view was first class and recently updated we think

We upgraded to a superior room with sea view, this had been recently refurbished to an extremely night standard, fab bathrooms, fridge, safe and balcony. Friends stayed at the back of the hotel and their room was very noisy...food was a pretty boring buffet but staff were extremely good and friendly. Beware if you have a late flight the courtesy roomies... More
