We stayed at the Athena beach from 3-10 October. My husband and I cannot stop talking about how brilliant this hotel was! The location was very good (about half an hour's walk from Paphos Town). The Rooms (even superior rooms) are small, old fashioned, smelly carpets, noisy fridges, low quality furniture - cheap plastic one on the tiny balconies, old sheets and covers on beds, old TVs with small choice of channels. Its been said before and its true, if you take a look at the hotels along that stretch of road from the Pioneer at one end to the Annabelle at the other the Athena Beach wins hands down!!. It has the largest expanse of beachfront, the largest expanse of garden areas and the most spaced out sunbed arrangements by far.... more

We visited the hotel last week as our daughter is due to get married there next June. We are delighted with her choice now we have visited. The staff were very helpful with our enquiries. Stayed at Athena a beach 9th - 23rd sep on honeymoon. Staff were fantsastic, helpful and friendly especially the bar staff. We stayed at the Athenae Beach from 12 - 19th September.We had a wonderful time there.  The hotel is large and spacious.  We were on a bed and breakfast basis.  The breakfast was ample with plenty of choice.  The hotel staff were mostly young europeans, and always helpful and smiling.Although quite full there was no problem in getting a sunbed... more
