Stayed in february on a full board basis. My room was at the front of the hotel with no balcony and a view of trees which were very close to the building. There was a fair amount of noise from the road. The room was pretty much what all hotels rooms are - quite spacious, though, and with a huge,... More

This hotel gives me everything I want and a little more. Had to upgrade from the Alexander the Great (still closed) but very glad I did. The staff are very friendly and the service they provide is spot on. Our room is a garden terrace however it is overlooking the sea and has sunshine all day, would not want a... More

The hotel is in an excellent position, very close to the harbour. The welcome was enthusiastic and the staff were very helpful. We had a sea view room on 4th floor, not sure it qualified as a "superior" though. We were on Full Board and there for 5 nights. Overall the hotel is living on its past reputation. it is... More

I am very sorry to read about your overall experience at Almyra. This isnt the lasting impression we wish our guests to have of our Hotel. It seems we did not deliver to you, our usual & consistent high standards with regard to your room and some other areas; for example not having Keo beer in bar, which we certainly... More

WE stayed in this hotel completely free because we had won a free stay in a contest. If we were paid we would definitely require our money back! The Hotel Almyra is below all expectations of its customers and its stars. It is the worst hotel we have ever stayed . . . much lower than a 2 star hotel.... More

Booked an inland room for last weekend for a get-away. I had contanted them prior to our arrival and requested some flowers for my wife (as it was her birthday). They called me and kindly asked me for our arrival time in order for the flowers to be in the room. Upon our arrival they upgraded us to a sea... More

Very much disappointed at Almyra hotel Paphos. The room was facing the main road and it was extremely noisy. The windows were not sound proofed and were made from the cheapest material. When we informed the reception about that, their respond was : What do you want us to do? Remove the road? They were extremely impolite. Never go there...

I have regularly been a reader of Tripadvisor reviews but have failed to provide my own. Following this current experience I feel compelled to write a review of my own and change my ways in future! Whilst my main gripe is with Mercury Direct holidays there are also failings in my view with Almyra, a hotel that is deemed (has... More

Had another wonderful spa day at The Almyra Hotel. The ambience is fantastic. The treatments were great. I had a coffee scrub, an aromatherapy full body massage and a very relaxing facial. I can recommend Cresilda as a therapist. Can't wait to return.

We spent a week at the Almyra in early February and we were very lucky with the weather - we even managed to sunbathe a couple of times. 5pm was the start on happy hour and this gave us a selection of lovely cocktails at very reasonable prices. Sipping our cocktails in the bar we could enjoy the spectacle of... More

We spent 3 weeks at the Almyra Hotel including Christmas and New Year 2013 and we had a wonderful stay . When we arrived we were made very welcome by the reception's staff and were taken to our room chosen for us in a quieter part of the hotel . In the evening the Duty Manager Maria Christodoulou took us... More
