Spent a week in the almyra with 16 and 10 year old. Watersports , tennis and food v good . Main pool spectacular but always surrounded by noisy small kids. Spa area very good with stunning views and no noise. Food will set u back 25eur per head luch and 45 eur dinner so pack plenty of cash. Sister hotel... more

Kid and Family friendly hotel, If you are looking for peace and quiet, make sure you get a room on the end close to the Spa and not on the first floor. Lots of children close to the elevators and on the first floor. The staff is great and lots of things to do offered at the hotel. more

I remember arriving at Almyra. The excitement was high, because some friends recommended it as the best family holiday destination… ever! The entrance really sums it all up. This is a modern hotel with spacious rooms and public spaces. 2 pools, one mainly used by very small children and their parents the other, adult only, well away from most amenities other than spa. Staff (mostly East European) were superb. Food and Drink stupid prices - Tuna Sandwich €12.50, Dinner €40, and Bottled Water in minibar ,10.50 a litre.... more

The Almyra is a clean and comfortable Hotel but I do not think it should have a five star rating. We had a Superior Sea View Room which could have done with some updating. The facilities outside are superb with an adults only pool and Spa which was good as there was a lot of families with babies here. Tea/Coffee... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a couple of nights in May. It is a very nice hotel and it has the whole package. Nice rooms, nice location, excellent breakfast, very good restaurants, excellent service, very nice spa area. I can definitely recomend this hotel for anyone who apreciate the above. We have visited Almyra in may just when the season started. The hotel is well run with qualified staff, ideal for families with small kids. Myself & my family have recently returned from the Almyra having booked with Tots Too a specialist family operator who I must say were fantastic! They sell the luxury five star hotels with creche & kids club facilities and whats so good about them is that the staff have been to the hotels themselves so they really know their stuff... more
