I stayed at the Almyra while attending a wedding of a friend that took place on the property in late November. As tourist season had recently ended, we often felt as if we had the resort to ourselves. Be sure and try the Cypriot walnut specialty offered during check-in – it’s unusual, but very tasty. We had booked a terrace... more

The service was excellent from the minute we arrived. We were made to feel very welcome. Our room was modern, light & airy. It was located on the 'road' side of the hotel but we heard no noise and slept peacefully. The room service was very good with fresh towels every day. The hotel is located within walking distance, 10... more

I stayed at Almyra Hotel last weekend. In my opinion, is not a 5 star hotel! Room was big enough for two, clean, very large windows and a nice sea view, but furniture was quite old. The TV was old, too. We had free internet in the room and in the hotel lobby. We couldn’t sleep during the night. The... more

Reception and other staff very helpful. We stayed in a Garden Room ie facing the road, which is about 50 yards away and not too noisy. Room was spacious but the carpet needed replacing. Watch out for the scalding hot water. The pool area looks out over the sea which is a few yards away across the promenade. Breakfast OK,... more

As advertised, the Almyra is a stylish, contemporary hotel. We visited with our 2 year old boy as the hotel advertises as child friendly and it did not disappoint. Although our son is energetic, we always got a really friendly reception from all staff and other guests. There is also plenty of space for those who are not travelling with... more

Kid and Family friendly hotel, If you are looking for peace and quiet, make sure you get a room on the end close to the Spa and not on the first floor. Lots of children close to the elevators and on the first floor. The staff is great and lots of things to do offered at the hotel. more

I remember arriving at Almyra. The excitement was high, because some friends recommended it as the best family holiday destination… ever! The entrance really sums it all up. You meet the tranquility of the cool white walls, the black slate fountain and in the horizon the Mediterranean blue waters with the sun sinking in it!!! Gorgeous. I guess we arrived... more

This is a modern hotel with spacious rooms and public spaces. 2 pools, one mainly used by very small children and their parents the other, adult only, well away from most amenities other than spa. Staff (mostly East European) were superb. Food and Drink stupid prices - Tuna Sandwich €12.50, Dinner €40, and Bottled Water in minibar ,10.50 a litre.... more

The Almyra is a clean and comfortable Hotel but I do not think it should have a five star rating. We had a Superior Sea View Room which could have done with some updating. The facilities outside are superb with an adults only pool and Spa which was good as there was a lot of families with babies here. Tea/Coffee... more
