I stayed at the hotel for one week in August while visiting friends in Paphos. The entrance to the hotel is very grand and it has a beautiful large lounge area and outside terrace facing the pool area which at night has superb sunsets. The bedroom was very comfortable although the standard room that I had booked was a little... More

I got to go to Paphos for a 4 day business trip and the Elysium left a lasting impression in my mind. The hotel doesn't look like those standard Hilton's or others (not that they are not good), but it just has something more welcoming. First of all the grounds, clean and well kept, the color of the buildings, pleasant,... More

booked the elysium after reading all the reviews on TA, and we were very impressed, can only say that all the other reviews are true - it is a beautiful, well kept hotel, with very attentive staff, we have never had such a relaxing break! we didn't want to leave

This was our second visit to the hotel and this time it was for our wedding. I would highly recommend this hotel wheather your getting married or just on holiday. Sure, in high season its packed with holiday makers but the hotel remains a great location and the staff are brilliant. If you are thinking of using the hotel as... More

I always take my mum away twice a year and i love 5 star hotels. the service and luxury I love and don't mind paying a bit extra to get what I want. I usually go to the Four Seasons, but fancied a change this time and so booked a 7 day break, on a half-board basis with a deluxe... More

I stayed at the Elysium with my wife and 2 children for a weekend in Feb 2011. It is one of the few hotels on the island which has character from an architectural point of view and impressive interiors. My wife who is an interior architect/designer had all good things to say. The rooms were very nice, clean and cozy!... More

This is the best hotel we've ever stayed at. It is a beautiful building with lovely gardens; the food is very good; and the staff friendly, helpful and courteous. Although it is justifiably a five star hotel, we did not feel that bar and other prices were excessive. The other guests, from Britain and elsewhere, were also very pleasant. Altogether... More

The area is not so hot but once u step into the hotel grounds you are transported into beauty and elegance. Can't fault this hotel on it's appearance, everything was impeccably clean and excellently maintained, not even a dead plant leaf could be found. Staff are very welcoming and friendly in all areas especially in the Astoria bar and restaurant.... More

Had a great holiday at the Elysium despite it being a package. It was quite exclusive and had a lovely international clientele .Attention to detail was brilliant .......... any requests were instantly satisfied. Tea on the veranda was done beautifully - with biscuits and snacks- well worth the cost just for the experience. Food in the hotel was international with... More

As others have said, from the moment of arrival and through to departure, all the staff are highly determined to ensure that one's stay is a pleasurable experience. We had a sea view room - definitely worth the extra. Missed having an hospitality tray in the room, but the General Manager told us that there would be next year. The... More
