Nice resort and overall a good choice for vacation. The hotel is situated on the cliff near the sea, 15 minutes by public bus from Paphos city center. Our sea view room with a balcony was spacious and clean , and had all 5 star room room amenities. The only comment would be that flushing the toilet is tricky -... More

We went there with my husband and my daughter. It is a lovely hotel and a very clean hotel too. However when requested a sea view room you can hardly see the sea as there are many trees in front. The sea view rooms though have a jacuzzi outside and this made up for the view. The staff was also... More

Me and my children had a lovely stay at the Azia at the end of July. Kind welcome from the receptionists, nice lobby and the whole atmosphere in the hotel. My daughter had a birthday on the arrival day. So upon arrival we found a basket with fruits in our room and receptionists mentioned that and wished her a happy... More

We really relaxed during our 8-day stay at the Azia Hotel and Spa. The location of the hotel is brilliant: peaceful with beatiful views. In the evenings you can see fantastic sunsets. We had terrace in the room, so we could watch sunsets straight from our terrace. Beautiful pool, very spacious lawn area with palms. We liked the fact that... More

Our relatives recommended this hotel for holidays. We took one-week package all inclusive. We liked the hotel for a lot of reasons: The hotel is situated in a very quiet and nice area of Paphos and surrounded by breath-taking views of the nature and the sea. This hotel has beautiful interior. It is very clean and tidy. The staff is... More

We have just come back from the Azia Resort. We stayed here for a week. It is a nice hotel. They maintained the excellent standard throughout. The views, the facilities and the staff working there make the hotel so special. The girls working at the reception are all warm and lovely. The room we took was spotless and kept so... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A small hotel may have all the charm in the world, yet what the discerning guest will sometimes miss is the variety of experience to make the holiday an unforgettable pleasure. This is the thinking behind the concept of the Azia Resort, a foray into sophisticated escapism that offers stylish barefoot living, understated luxury and casual unobtrusive service. Built as three sections, with plethora of magnificent spaces for carefree living, the Azia Resort has all the diversity to keep its guests contented for a week or longer. Each element of the three-in-one boutique hotel concept has its own character and fulfills different aspirations of the visitor. The Azia Blue is about sophisticated, spacious living and family luxury. The Azia Club and Spa is ideal for privacy and indulgence. The Residence is a haven of individual pampering and innovative style. The Azia Resort is situated a few kilometres from Paphos centre and is privileged to share close proximity to the finest locations and treasures of the island. One of the few resorts with a west-facing outlook, the Azia provides guests with a sublime view of blazing indescribable sunsets. The sophisticated design of the hotel owes as much to edgy London design as to local influences. The result an atmosphere that is sensuous yet earthy, shaped by the whole history of Cyprus and by the natural beauty of the island. The nature is suggested, for instance, by such details as the use of flower and leaf motifs carved on wood and stone as well as by the profusion of indoor and outdoor plantings. The history is present in a slick, fusion manner combining very earthy and artistic elements. Each area is influenced by a different chapter of the Cyprus history. Venetian Murano glass, hand painted silk and gold leaf decoration of the main dining room represent the impact of the Venetian Republic on the history of the island, while the main lobby has the airiness suggestive of the open spaces of the agora of ancient Greece. There the pebble, the marble, the greenery and the abundance of light combine perfectly with loungy loveseats and design furniture. The staircase banister looks like seaweeds moving with the waves and the piano lobby bar is a beautiful reminder of the colonial influence. The main bar, in deep sensuous colours, with finely carved wood lace on the walls and hand-wrought iron lamp structures, captures the fusion of Arab cultures on the island. The sybaritic Asphodel Spa is a hymn to nature, intriguing to the senses yet calming to the mind. The sound of falling water, the fine incense of ouzo and anise, the breeze in the garden treatment rooms, the rich natural textures; these and a variety of treatments offering different experiences have been deployed in its design to awake all the senses and sooth the body and mind. This is one of the best spas in the world, a space that can keep the visitor content day after day. The symbol of the hotel is the Asphodel, the immortal flower in the ancient Greek mythology. According to the ancient Greeks, it stands for the ultimate happiness of the soul and was the first sight a soul longed to see at the gates of paradise. Asphodel still grows in abundance wild on the island. ... more   less
