Location ideal for walks to Paphos Weather was very bad , but no-one can change the weather Hotel quite cold generally Rooms were fine , clean, big enough balcony for good weather I dont think they should charge for room safe , fridge and tea making stuff , especially as it is £2-£4 per day for each !! Good variety... More

I've just come back from a 3 week winter break and this is our 2nd visit to this hotel. I have stayed in a much pricier tourist hotel in the past ( top price begins with an A ) and I much prefer the Aloe's Cypriot ambiance. The hotel is popular with long stay guests in winter, some staying for... More

I recently stayed here for a two week break and will just point out basic points and let you make up your own mind as to whether you think it is good value, I would probably score it good but there is no option for that, either very good or average and I do not think either apply so I... More

Just come back from the Aloe, in the worst weather for many years, after three weeks we were ready. A very quiet hotel, if you just like book reading , its fine, We like an active holiday, so its not for us at all, The pool area will be excellent in the summer, good for sun bathing, looks good. The... More

before i start i would just like to say to all the people that give this a very poor rating that they want something for nothing and if they want to go to one of the other hotels in the area and pay 3 times as much they should do so. my wife and i arrived on the 3rd of... More

We spent 3 weeks at this hotel beginning of January, and firstly I liken this hotel to a value tin of beans, you get exactly what you pay for, the location is brilliant, the rooms are spacious but very dated, but the ladies who clean the rooms daily, I would give a gold medal to as they do a sterling... I have voted this hotel excellent overall, we found the rooms very clean, and the bed linen changed regularly, though the décor of the rooms was dated. Ours looked out at the pools and had no sun on the Balcony. The lack of Tea making facilities is a negative, but we take our own travel kettle so it did not... More

This hotel has excellent for and very clean, the hospitality staff were very efficient. The only negative was the entertainment - or lack of it and the quality wasn't the best. The bedrooms were spacious and modern. The pools looked very well kept even though myself I didn't go in them. (this was written on behalf of my mum who... More

Transferred from inferior hotel and were delighted with our sunny warm room. You can control your heating but ours was perfect. We were given a sea view which apparently carries a supplement but we weren't charged for this. Lovely clean spacious well maintained room. Excellent breakfast and evening meal choices and a superb Gala dinner for Xmas eve, Xmas day... More

Having recently spent 3 weeks at this hotel I would certainly recommend it for a peaceful, relaxed Christmas break. There is plenty of public lounge space to read or chat without having to sit in the bedroom and no TV etc blaring out, just gentle background music. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the food was excellent -... More
