An excellent place to gain full, life-lasting immunity to many diseases, including chlamydia and acari. Terrible dirt. Ages since the last time it was swept and cleaned, but as it repels you from sleeping and taking a bath, it offers you a great opportunity to see the magnificent historical Lydras street. Surely a bad choice for a tourist/couple. (PS. Paid... More

We didn't stay at the hotel but stopped for lunch. The souvlaki and moussaka were the best we have had since we arrived in Cyprus. We are staying in the north of the island but we're glad we visited the south today on 40 the anniversary of separation . The Cypriots all want a United Cyprus so sad it is... More

Nothing impressive, just an average hotel, but location is fantastic: central and easy to find. A bit noisy, although I blame the other occupants of the hotel (who, for some reason, forgot that other people may be sleeping at 1am)

The Rimi Hotel is in a great location within the walled city of Nicosia on the Greek Cypriot side of the Island. Its location is fantastic as it is extremely close to a range of bars, restaurants and shops and is located in the old city in a web of narrow streets. The rooms are good, clean but sparse and... Pros: - Excellent location, right in the heart of the old Nicosia, close to restaurants, museums, etc... Cons: - 70 euro for one night (double room), way too expensive for what you are getting; - Only one towel (we were 2 persons);

We didn't stay in the hotel, only visited for lunch whilst on an excursion to Nicosia. The restaurant looked lovely in the courtyard of Nicosia old town amongst the tiny streets of little shops selling authentic Greek wares for souvenirs. When we walked through the courtyard (public access) we were swooped on by a member of staff presumptuously pushing us... More

Not a bad Hotel if you like to be close to crowded walkways and busy shops in the Old Town area, the best thing to do if you want to stay in this Hotel is to ask to see a few rooms first and then make a decision. This is a very hot place to stay in the summer and... More

I was given a corner balcony room on the first floor. Excellent. It was a bit noisy, both because of foot traffic and conversation just below, and at night and at all hours music which could be thumping. But I travel with melatonin and ear plugs, so no problem. It was a large room, with desk and chair, clean bathroom... More
