“Value for money in the Real (non touristy) Cyprus”

We have stayed in Kontoyiannis House 3 times - 2008, 2009, 2009. Why? We love the village of Kalavasos where friendly Cypriate families live; the village square where the elderly gentlemen gather during the day to drink coffee and play games; the private, sunny and pot plant-filled courtyard of the house; great fresh produce in the area, the central location... Nice place to stay to get away from it all but easy 5 min drive to the beach. Very peaceful. Villas immaculate with a brilliant patio to sit out on and enjoy food and drink More

My husband and I stayed at Kontoyiannis House for several days. The apartment was situated on the ground floor. It was pretty standard for a self-catering style apartment.
