We stayed D B&B. Dinner for 7 nights. Menu variety was limited. Breakfast had 3 hot choices ie something like beans, scrambled eggs. sliced sausage. Re-supply was slow. Beautifully decorated & wonderfully clean throughout. The place has a feel of quality. The staff were all friendly & helpful. The location is good, close to shops & a short walk to the castle & harbour. The views from the terrace are wonderful once you look past the immediate town centre surroundings. What a beautiful hotel. We stayed at the Colony hotel for 2 nights whilst travelling within Cyprus and were amazed at how gorgeous the hotel is. The rooms are beautiful with an extremely comfy bed and all the luxuries of a very good 5 star hotel. We stayed bed and breakfast, and the food was delicious. more

On arrival in the dark we were impressed by the luxiriuos entrance of this hotel in the small resort town of Kyrenia. The room we were taken to was also pleasant but the view of a petrol station wasn't quite so impressive. Buy alcoholic drinks at local supermarkets. Do not go half board as menu very limited. Music nights and films are for locals and residents not encouraged. more

Although this is a very splendid hotel it is not one for holidaymakers. Whilst our room was very comfortable we felt like we were in a city centre hotel and not on holiday. The Colony is a lovely, attractive hotel, but unfortunately the service does not match its appearance. Most of the staff are lovely and very friendly, but the service is very different from last year.
