This was our 3rd visit to the Ship Inn, If you want a tranquil, friendly, relaxing or even a romantic holiday this is the place to go. It is really beautiful. We have stayed in one of the pool side villas and also a garden room, both equally nice. The setting is lovely, with a lovely mountain view, beaches only... more

We stayed here for one week with our daughter and her fiance. We had prebooked a car with our tour operator (Direct Traveller) but could have booked one at the hotel for the same price. Staff were very, friendly especially Zube the Head Waiter who drew us a rudimentary map on a sheet of his order pad when we told him we... more

I've stayed at The Ship Inn 4 times this year for up to 4 nights at a go. It is very 'British' - the dining room/bar being reminiscent of a big old English Pub. The grounds surrounding the accommodations and the pool are attractive and afford some privacy to the bungalows. Lots of very mature olive trees mixed with hedges... more

We have stayed here many times and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We have always been treated well and made very welcome. The staff are very friendly and very attentive. Looking forward to going there in December more

I have been staying at The Ship for 8/9 years now, over the year end and for between 6 and 12 weeks. I am due to return this winter. A major factor in the running of this hotel is a management which is partly based in London, also linked to a London-based travel company, Direct Traveller. Continuity of staff in... more

Once again The Ship came up trumps, nothing too much trouble for Zube and Nuri as usual, those guys certainly know their stuff. Having been staying at the ship for some time (every year for the past 6 years twice one year) I think it needs to update the decore as its getting a bit tired also the pool bar... more

Spent 2 weeks here on B and B basis, but because hotel meals were so good we mainly took the evening 3 course meal. Would certainly return to this hotel where nothing was too much trouble for all the staff. A very relaxing stay with many guests appearing to have returned year after year. Only slight drawback is location -... more

We spent a week at The Ship Inn and it was OK. The grounds are fabulous, mature flower beds, well maintained grass areas and the pool is huge, deep and very clean. The rooms are basic. Our air con didn't work and we had to complain a few times before it got fixed. After that it was fine. The decor... more

I stayed for a week at the Ship, which is styled like a Tudor building in the main bar/restaurant area, but with that Mediterranean feel to the apartments. Everything was spotless, air-con in the rooms, mountain views at the back, and pool views at the front. Excellent pool, not loud music, but something gentle in the background. Good service, cold... more
