Just returned from Acapulco beach resort and had a wonderfully relaxed holiday. The hotel had a lovely clean beach and clear sea that remains shallow for quite a way out and was warm enough to swim and relax in. Also a massive swimming pool with slides and chutes that kept the men and children entertained. The hotel was clean throughout... more

This is a lovely place for a quiet break. We went in October but it would probably be very busy during peak season though. Great location for kids as the beach is exceptionally clean and safe, the pools are lovely and there are lots of aqua slides - great fun for kids both large and small! The sea is clear,... more

We returned to the Acapulco after 4 years. This time we stayed in the hotel rather than a bungalow, and were rather disappointed in the condition of the room. It needed refurbishment, especially the bathroom, where the tiles were dirty and cracked, and there was no surface left on the bath or taps! However, as always, the service and friendliness... more

Staff friendly and helpful, restaurant staff excellent, rooms good size and kept spotless, good and welcome air conditioning, grounds large and pretty, beach adjacent very clean. Food varied, bread is delicious and fresh. My only criticism is that food and drink on the complex is expensive, there is nowhere to buy even a bottle of water, and no supermarkets within... more

This was a holiday arranged a week before we travelled. We booked it quickly, and then read the Trip Advisor reviews.... they weren't good. However, not all the reviews were bad and I figured that being forewarned at least prepared us for an unperfect holiday. I also had a good look at the hotel using Google map and saw that... more

We stayed at Acapulco hotel for 2 weeks. Have mixed feelings. You get tired of the food within a couple of days as it's the same thing in the morning and evening. No Variety As we vegetarian that makes it difficult even so. We ordered toasted sandwich with green pepper and onion and there were pieces of meet sticking out.... more

This is a great family hotel with everything close to hand. It all runs very smoothly and to a high standard. The food is good though when the hotel is full as it was when we were there it can become a bit of a rugby scrum at meal times which is a shame. At all other times even though... more

I read several reviews of this hotel before my booking. The fist issue is that it is listed on Tripadvisor under three different names: Club Acapulco, Club Acapulco Holiday Village and Acapulco Resort & Convention & SPA. For the sake of this review, I'll file mine under Acapulco Resort & Convention & SPA... We have a 7 year-old daughter and... more

We chose this hotel in North Cyrpus a) because it was 5* and b) because of the facilities. We arrived at 1 a.m. in the morning and were not even offered a drink. The following morning we started to unpack but with only a single wardrobe we were unable to. I spent the morning by the pool - totally alone,... more

This hotel is better than most and is a high standard. However, it does fall short, in my view, of being 5 star. I would class it as a very good 4 star resort. The pool is really big and very clean. It is not usually busy although over the weekend it did get much busier. The hotel is right... more
