The hotel is quite simple but efficient, most of the things are available and in general it is a good option for the island. We ended up in a very busy time, for the summer solstice celebrations and the service was not very efficient but friendly. The only issue was for the checkout, we planned to take the ferry that... HOTEL KLAKSVIK. Outside it is written another name. When you arrive to the city the bay and harbour is in front of you. Take the left way, just aside the beautiful church. The hotel is about 300 m farther. Reception is just this, the attention a bit cold . Room 315 (995 k / day, it is good price in... More

The location is very good overseeing the Klaksvik harbour. Ample parking on the premises. Serving nice breakfast. No alcohol on the premises. A 10 - 15 minutes walk to "down town". The rooms were modern and the en suite was large and comfortable. Every room with multichannel internationals and a large LCD screen on the wall.

It took me ages to find this place, even using Google maps, even though Klaksvik isn't that big. The name in giant letters on the side of the building is not 'Hotel Klaksvik,' and the building seems also to house part of the hospital wards, and elements of a retirement or nursing home. That said, once I finally found it,... More

Klaksvik is a quiet town. So it is the Hotel Klaksvik. Nothing luxurious, but it is a very cozy and comfortable hotel for short or long visits. I would suggest it to everyone who is traveling to Faroe Islands.

The Hotel is a great base from which to explore the norther part of Faroe's with a bit more depth than the average Cruise or Big City traveler. Comfortable, clean, friendly, well situated, full breakfast, and traditional amenties.

This is your basic Faroese hotel. You get a room and a bed. Nothing more but then again nothing less. The location in Klaksvik is good and the staff is friendly. They have a restaurant that serves a set menu. However you can't get beer/wine with it.

Klaksvik, the second largest town in the Faroes is a little deprived of character and the hotel, it must be said, tends to reflect this. It is clean, comfortable with pleasant rooms. It is, however, lacking in any ambience and taste. Breakfast was good but again nothing special. The views from the hotel are good if you face the harbour,... More

We stayed in Klaksvik for two nights and were very pleased with this hotel. Some of the reviews are perhaps a little unfair. Yes it is a basic hotel but its comfortable, friendly and very clean. It is very remote after all! Breakfast was good. Dinner wasn't being served when we were there but as well as the Hereford Restaurant... More

We stayed here for our first 2 nights in the Faroes - the hotel is clean, the staff our friendly, and it is right in the town centre. There are evening meals served for DKK180pp (no choice, just what's been cooked, but it was always tasty and the portions were more than generous). It is a nice location with great... More
