A very homely boutique guest house, run by an elderly lady who makes you feel at home. Very clean and very comfortable and welcoming. I imagine it could be very cool in the summer, but rather cold in the winter, however heaters are on offer at an extra charge

A lovely town house, extremely well located. Everything in Valletta is at most a few hundred metres away. Comfortable room, comfortable bed, and hot shared showers. There were three rooms on my floor sharing two showers, but the other rooms were empty so I had the floor to myself. Very reasonable prices (I paid €30 a night) including breakfast. Breakfast... Location - perfect. Room - clean, spacious, delightful. Building - historic. Wi-Fi - free. Price - negligible. Service - exceptional. The lady in charge had set out breakfast for me and was disappointed when I shot out in search of a croissant. Oh, she said, I would have got that for you if you'd asked. How guilty did I feel....... When booking the guesthouse it was unclear if the room was €30 per person or per room (It's €30 per person per night). Annie also offered us a taxi from the airport, as we didn't know how the transport worked on Malta we accepted for €20. It turned out that it is only a 10 minute drive from the airport... More

The Guest House itself is a lovely building in a very nice location. The rooms are basic, but clean and has a wash basin was present. A lot of stairs to climb, so don't bring a heavy bag. The room was very hot in August, a fan is provided, but if you are not good with high temperatures, this might... More

This is a "guest house" in the central part of Valletta Malta. The Unesco Ancient Heritage listed city is best explored from the doorstep of Asti Guest house. Close to everything including the buses that take you all over the island. Modestly priced rooms that are clean and tidy. A very welcoming and delightful owner who has true Maltese hospitality... My family enjoyed 5 days in the Asti in May. Annie was a kind and friendly host, very understanding towards our disabled son. Lovely building. Great value for money at 30 euros per person per day. Perfect position too for all the sights of Valetta, in a quieter area a couple of mins from the centre and also a few... More

If you're looking for super-luxury, this isn't your place. However if you want a spotlessly clean, centrally located, charming bed and breakfast with a charming owner, look no further. Yes, there are stairs and shared bathrooms, but Valletta is an ancient city and this is an old building. You can handle it. Our room was spacious, and our bathroom was... More

We are a young couple from Northern Europe, and we stayed at Asti for four nights. Overall, we are satisfied with the experience and would recommend the guesthouse for most self-sufficient travelers. The biggest advantage of Asti is definitely its location - right in the center of Valletta, yet hidden in a quiet street and sheltered from the noise. Valletta... More

I am a physically fit, cheap and mildly out of my head person, but I faced the long stairs to my room with great trepidation as the days grew longer. Central Valletta also closes down to one all-night pasta place quite early, if you're considering ascending/descending to eat at night. The owner is either old and absent-minded or sharp as... More
