We stayed at this hotel in October, 2005. The hotel has been recently renovated. It is well staffed by friendly, helpful personnel. Without asking we were given a room with a terrific view of the harbor. We too visited the nearby four-star Jarma Palace. By comparison, it was farther from the restaurants and harbor, most rooms had less scenic views, the staff seemed stuffy, it had a pretensious atmospere, the pool was no better though it has a better view, and the cost was three times as much! For even money we would have preferred the Etvan.
