Just returned from a couple of days break in Valletta with a friend. Chose this hotel based on favourable reviews & also location. The hotel far exceeded our expectations & the price was more than reasonable. The location right on the harbour was perfect for us & was within easy walking distance of all main tourist & shopping areas although... More

We just wish we'd booked it for longer. Arriving off a long flight from Oz, we were welcomed with great courtesy by Mario, who smiled and said he had a surprise for us, which turned out to be a suite on the second floor with a wrap-around 16-windowed sunroom overlooking the Grand Harbour, where cruise ships float by and all... Grand Harbour is a fantastic hotel in the heart of Valletta- minutes away from the main sites. We had a room (601) which had a great view over the harbour, looking out on to the three cities. The room was light, modern, comfortable and quiet and we were near the roof terrace. Really good value and very popular. You need... More

Booked the hotel after reading reviews on Tripadviser. I must say that from the outside the hotel looked average on the inside it was very good. Then we got to the room - 101- it was very well presented with a Juliet balcony on one side and a view of the harbour on the other. The room has obviously been... More

This 2 star hotel could easily be a 4 star one. Great position, 2 minutes from St. John's Square. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, breakfast was great. They upgraded our room upon checking in and gave us a bigger, studio type of a room. Highly recommended.

Although on arrival, considering I was concerned about the location of this hotel and its 90 steps to the road, we coped very well. For someone like myself with serious knee issues, this could have been a disastrous location, but thanks to the very attentive staff we coped. Yes, there is a courtesy bus up; at 10.00am and back; at... More

We booked two twin rooms, one on 6th one on 3rd. Different styles, smaller room, large bathroom, large room, smaller bathroom. Ok though, nice and clean. No refreshments in the room, but this is usual in Europe. Small Bar in Hotel and places nearby to eat and drink although we like to walk further for restaurants. Reasonable choice of food... More

Definitely a great position, very close to the cathedral. The room was small and not very clean but the staff was very kind. Breakfast was poor as far as cakes and biscuits are concerned but there where eggs, bacon and beans. On the top of the beautiful ancient flat there was a huge terrace with a wonderful sight of the... The Grand Harbour Hotel, as a little bit of "Googling" will reveal, is well situated close to the centre of Valletta and has good views of the Grand Harbour. The welcome was warm and genuine, and in addition to that, the owner let us have his parking space. There is plenty of parking close by, but it may not be... More

A fantastic spot, clean and comfortable room and bed. Hot, decent shower and hair dryer. But, best of all fantastic views. We had a room with a private terrace overlooking the harbour... Breathtaking. Very friendly and helpful reception staff and good value bar prices. Breakfast lacked decent tea or coffee, so we opted for an espresso and pastizzi elsewhere and... More
