Although on arrival, considering I was concerned about the location of this hotel and its 90 steps to the road, we coped very well. For someone like myself with serious knee issues, this could have been a disastrous location, but thanks to the very attentive staff we coped. Yes, there is a courtesy bus up; at 10.00am and back; at... More

We booked two twin rooms, one on 6th one on 3rd. Different styles, smaller room, large bathroom, large room, smaller bathroom. Ok though, nice and clean. No refreshments in the room, but this is usual in Europe. Small Bar in Hotel and places nearby to eat and drink although we like to walk further for restaurants. Reasonable choice of food... More

Definitely a great position, very close to the cathedral. The room was small and not very clean but the staff was very kind. Breakfast was poor as far as cakes and biscuits are concerned but there where eggs, bacon and beans. On the top of the beautiful ancient flat there was a huge terrace with a wonderful sight of the... The Grand Harbour Hotel, as a little bit of "Googling" will reveal, is well situated close to the centre of Valletta and has good views of the Grand Harbour. The welcome was warm and genuine, and in addition to that, the owner let us have his parking space. There is plenty of parking close by, but it may not be... More

A fantastic spot, clean and comfortable room and bed. Hot, decent shower and hair dryer. But, best of all fantastic views. We had a room with a private terrace overlooking the harbour... Breathtaking. Very friendly and helpful reception staff and good value bar prices. Breakfast lacked decent tea or coffee, so we opted for an espresso and pastizzi elsewhere and... More

Recently renovated this hotel is ideal for many reasons: comfort, breakfast, welcome and, last but not least, the fantastic location. If you ask for a room with sea view you have in fact a view on the Grand Harbour, one of the most fantastic historical site I know. And if you like boats, you will not be disappointed with the... Rated as a 2 star hotel but it is more than that. Standard rooms are a tad small but clean and functional. The breakfasts are excellent with a wide choice and the chef and his staff are very friendly and accommodating. The brothers who run the hotel are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. It has a lovely... More

After helping a German couple in German, and dealing with the staff in Maltese, Mario addressed us in perfect English. We were early...it was no problem...with a few whispers the room was ready...and OMG it was spectacular. Grand Harbor and the Three Cities spread before us like a medieval tapestry. The hotel's historic exterior belies its modern insides. Though the... More

I have just come back from my second visit to this hotel and throughly enjoyed it. If you book a sea view room you will have wonderful views over Grand Harbour. However, if you book a standard room it will probably be at the back of the hotel and they are quite small with no view so I would recommend... More

Very well located, this hotel recently renovated is comfortable with a wonderful view on the harbour and the city from the terrasse on the roof. Close to the old city and animated streets with a lot of shops, banks, monuments, the staff is very nice, always smiling and helpful. The rates are very correct for this category. Free Wi-Fi, breakfast... More
