I really enjoyed staying at this charming little place. + The food was amazing. We ended up having lunch and dinner here - both were excellent. The atmosphere is great. I love the charm of this place - full of early 20th century toys and everyday objects. A choice of two levels of restaurant, plus the terraced cafe/ restaurant outside.... More

Luciana Valletta Boutique really adds up to its name. My room is really boutique style with doors opening onto a balcony where one side I can see the harbour and the other side I can see St. John's cathedral. The building is sandstone inside and out and I feel like I've stepped back in time with my room. Church bells... More

This is the best hotel in Malta! Hands Down, the friendliest staff. I have read other reviews and cannot understand the negative ones. First, very easy to find. The bus from airport drops you at City Gate. You walk straight for a few blocks and make a right. You will stumble over it if you aren't looking! Yes, you check... More

Beautifully appointed, if small, room above a nice little Italian restaurant right in old Valletta. Included in the very reasonable room price was a nice English breakfast with coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice" I loved it, and would definately stay there again.

we had room 41, right at the top. no window to look out of but 5 steps to the roof terrace. the room had air con, which not having any windows was essential. bathroom lovely and i really enjoyed the break. had a bit of a problem when we booked in as they over charged us but we got a... More

Stayed here for five nights on way back from Gozo to UK. Had booked a deluxe double, split level, which was gorgeous ... four-poster, swathes of muslin, etc. Room 32 overlooked the Square and faced the Cathedral. I take full responsibility for the fact that I had about eight hours sleep in five days ... I knew about the bells... More

We spent one night in Valletta before heading on to St Julians and for exploring the city this hotel was very well located. Rooms were comfortable and quirky and we personally didn't find the ringing of the bells a problem. Our room faced on to the side street though so maybe these rooms are quieter. There are a few issues... More

This was going to be a four star review. The family room is lovely and spacious, the location is great (really central, and personally I didn't really notice the bells), and the back stairs that other reviewers have complained about were very popular with our family, since it meant you didn't have to exit through the busy restaurant. The one... More

Starting with the bad point. If you value a good night's -DONG- sleep, then -BONG-, you had better stay further -BONG- away from the cathedral right opposite -DONG- this hotel. - DONG. The bells rang all through the night and I didn't sleep a wink. BONG. Other than that, this quirky set of rooms above a busy cafe has character... More

The guesthouse is special and has a great view on Saint John's Cathedral. On the top floor you can admire a unique view on the harbor of Valletta! Our room on the 3rd floor had a balcony and was spacious and clean. From our balcony we had a view on the square and we could see the daily market. For... More
