I have visited Malta so many times I have lost count! The Imperial has always provided me with a very satisfactory stay. The staff are first class, I can not fault their service. There is a lovely garden that my wife and I often enjoy, along with a swim in the pool. The hotel building is best described as faded... More

Enjoyed the stay but the Hotel is very tired and needs investment. Found the beds very comfortable and room and bathroom very spacious, but as others have commented the bathroom needs replacing - the shower was positioned at my chest height. Didn't dine there at night, probably because the breakfast was disappointing, and was very disappointed to find the bar... More

This January (2015) my wife and I will be staying at the Imperial for the fifth year in succession. We come in January because it's cheap, we have lots of friends who come at much the same time, and we are greeted by the staff as old friends ("Oh, it's you, Sir. It must be January!") The food gets better... More

I stayed for third time at Imperial Hotel from Sept.26-Oct3.There are a number of reasons I keep returning.Pricewise it's good and I like what they have to offer. There is a nice feeling of space here in terms of rooms and corridors.I found the meals to be good especially the evening meal. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Just two... More

The hotel is a little bit old but has a reasonable price. The rooms are quite big and air conditioned. The staff, including the owner, is quite unfriendly except someone called Martin. The pool is also good. I would go back because the price was very good.

Felt we were an inconvenience. Staff were clearing and setting up tables for next meal whilst people were still eating. Dinner being set whilst breakfast trying to be eaten. Food very repetitive and bland. What sort of hotel has a bar that closes at 9.30pm? Hotel well photoshopped rooms not touched since the 70's although we did have the company... More

Apparently once an old hunting lodge but resembles a large old convent building. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast a bit 70s - i.e powdered fruit juice in a machine, same as coffee. Eggs powdered scrambled too! - but everywhere else the same. It is clean and tidy and the courtyard and pool and lovely. Not for rowdy oiks or children.... More

The staff were friendly and the hotel looked amazing. It has character and tradition as opposed to being a hotel with the same design as millions of others. The inside looks amazing and the rooms have air conditioning aswell as the hotel having a green/recycle policy and energy saving which makes it even more appealing. The staff were really helpful... We stayed at the Imperial Hotel for 3 weeks combining a holiday, wedding and honeymoon. We had the civil ceremony at the hotel and although we had an idea of what our day was going to be the Imperial Hotel's staff far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in the reception staff were there with help and advice... More

Just returned from a two week stay at the Imperial & if you want a modern chic place on the sea front this is probably not for you - if, however, you want a place full of character & charm situated in a residential area but only 10 mins walk away from the sea front & similar distance to the...
