In my opinion Sliema Chalet Hotel is quite a good one for those money that you pay for it and for 3*** level. Among advantages I can mention its excellent (the sea is just across the road), mostly friendly and quick personal, who repaired the phone in my room and changed a light bulb in the bathroom as soon as... more

I don't mind basic hotels but cleanliness in rooms was awful, dirty bathroom, dirty bed linen, old blood stains on bed cover, screws sticking up from floor, no tea/coffee making facility in rooms as stated in brochure, minimal coat hangers for a double room, very basic breakfast, what was there was tasteless. One or two staff helpful, unfortunately, the rest... more

This hotel is not good.Stayed here 4 nights. Room and beds did not feel or look clean. Insisted on room change as the first room smelled of drains. Insisted bed clothes changed as they were grubby.Replacements not much better. If we had not pre booked through a tour operator we would have left immediately. Mould in the bathroom, rusty bath,... more

I stayed at this hotel on the 8th sept 2008 i had a seaview room which overlooks the prom the only problems i had with this hotel is that if you wanted a meal in the downstairs restaraunt you got no discount and also if you wanted a fridge or a tv(which is free in 99.9% other hotels) you had... more

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Although we arrived quite late the check in went very smoothly. We got a double sea view room on the 5th floor and we were amazed of the spectacular view! And the sun roof terrace view was even better. The room was specious with 2 separate beds. I don't... more

Stayed for a week as a solo traveler,as such i really only used the hotel as a base. Was surprised that the air conditioning came free,as my last stay in a 3 star in Sliema was going to cost me e47 for a week.Breakfast was average continental, but ok.My room was an inner room so obviously no view, but the front rooms with... more

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. When we first got there in the evening we were placed in a back room that had a 'view' of an air conditioning unit. The air in the room was stagnant and the room was not clean. There was mould around the sink. We complained the next day and and... more

The Sliema Chalet Hotel in Malta is indeed a great hotel, what it lacks in stars rating is more than made up by the efficiency, friendly staff. Any request I ever made was seen to promptly and any problems resolved in a few hours. This s my fifth visit to this hotel, and I would call it home from home... more

This small, comfortable hotel situated across the street from the Mediterranean is a safe, clean place to stay while visiting Malta. Offering a 24 reception desk was comforting. It's central location offers local buses, the ferry to the capital city, shopping and all amenities. Across the street is the Promenade that offers a beautiful, easy and scenic walk up the... more
