the hotel location is really great for those who love the sea as it's just across the bay. sliema bay is a great area to stay, thus, this hotel is just right. you can jog along the pathway as what some people are doing. it's just half an hour walk to st. julian's, another great area for restaurants. there's just... Basic accommodation but for the price I paid I wasn't expecting the Ritz! Main problem was that one of the lifts had a mind of its own and could not be trusted so staff and guests mainly used the other one which in the busy season could cause problems - especially for someone like me with mobility problems. Staff were... More

We stayed just before Christmas and felt we had good value for what we had paid. Our room at the front had quite a spacious balcony with lovely sea view. No need to hire a car with bus stops right outside and only a five minute walk to Valletta ferry. A good base.

Stayed here for 4 nights, and got a twin room instead of economy :) Room was clean and nice. Though there was a strange smell and only realized on my last night that the commode was actually leaking! I was only using the hotel to sleep and recharge my batteries, so can't complain! The facilities were basic, no hairdryer, soap... More

I stayed there the last week of November. Its very basic they do give you soap bars but no other toiletries. I was only in the room to sleep and so the view did not matter to me. Had a room facing towards the inside(away from the streets) room was very quiet. Everything was clean the shower head was a... More

In this hotel everything seemed to be old, starting with the chairs in the lobby and in the lounge, the elevators, the furniture in the rooms and the bathrooms. I can't really say that the hotel was dirty, there were some minor problems, but considering the cheap price it was acceptable. The bed however was not acceptable. It seemed very... More

This hotel is deffo not worth a 3*! The hotel its self was not actually that bad, very dated for saying its supposed to be "modern"! There is simply no facilities here wat so ever!!! There is no fridge's in the rooms which in a hot country is needed!! There is no balcony unless a sea view room is booked,... More

Well, the problem was really with a young man at the front desk who did not understand English clearly enough, in a country where English is an official language, to help an Englishman solve a problem in his room. The Brit wanted help in using the AC control, but the receptionist couldn't figure out the basics of the requests. The... More

The shower is an a accident waiting to happen, falling apart!! You only get two towels each day,(one per person)that's supposed to do for handwashing, showering etc!! No... More

I enjoyed an inner ugly room with views to the abyss. The hotel did not provide any shampoo or gel samples in the bath. A terrible noise started at 7 a.m. every day as pipes started to work. They arranged a taxi for me (price over the standard) to get the airport, the taxi arrive with half an hour delay,... More
