I was fortunate to stay in the Fortina Spa Resort with a friend for a few days in July. My room was on the 17th floor and the views were absolutely amazing, day and night. The room itself was perfect, very modern decor and quite possibly the biggest bathroom I have ever seen. Double shower, bath, twin sinks and spa... More

The Fortina Spa is overall a 4* Hotel. You have to stay in the newly refurbished 12th floor rooms, or above. Those rooms are 5* and wonderful. Spacious, clean (as they are very new) chic, modern (grey/white colour scheme, no chintz, none of the usual hotel paintings, no paintings at all). The bathroom is devine. Ensure you request a sea... We had booked a standard room at half board for 10 days in August 2015. Prior to arrival we had decided to upgrade to a spa room and all inclusive. This we found easy to do and the Hotel Receptionist was helpful and efficient. There was a problem with the jacuzzi in the room we had. When this couldn't be... More

Overall we gave 5 stars as for what we paid, the free upgrade on arrival and the excellent room staff it was great value. Pools were good although we preferred the 4* pool as 5* over run by kids from 4* hotel. Was weird sharing facilities as 5* guests got annoyed. Restaurants fabulous although difficult to book. One night we... More

Quite honestly the worst hotel I've stayed at which claims to be 4*. Arrived from airport, with a toddler and 5 year old, for the room not to be ready on time, in fact it was ready late. The tv in the room does not work and 5 days on still has not been fixed despite several requests. There is... More

Bedroom reasonable, but spa facilities in room average. If you wanted to take advantage of spa facilities in hotel you had to trek outside in dressing gown etc., to the supposed sister hotel 4star same name down the road & pay extra for the privilege. The food was adequate, but we only took breakfast there. Hotel reception staff not very... More

My partner and I came back from the hotel about 2 weeks ago. We loved it. View from balcony was breath-taking. Our room was clean and lovely and was often cleaned up by the cleaning lady. People in the hotel (staff, waiters, and receptionists) were so friendly and open to help us. Foods in the restaurants were very tasty and... More

This 5* holiday was booked as our 40th wedding anniversary treat, so we expected a little more than we would usually get on our 3*/4* holidays. The good bits: 1.The room we were allocated was on the 17th floor (1776) and was of a very good standard with a large balcony with 2 comfortable sunbeds and a hot tub and... More
