This hotel is in the process of being demolished. The advertised pools have been replaced by one very small one. I visited the Galaxy whilst on holiday at another hotel in Malta as I own a timeshare there and knew the hotel had been sold. The Galaxy hotel has been demolished and all that remains are the timeshare apartments. As at June 05 it resembles a bomb site and I don't think I will be visiting my timeshare as usual... more

Completely disagree with other review. Staff excellent, food excellent, hotel v. clean as is pool. Hotel in good location and well set out. Hotels cannot control guests - students were also there when we were - but did try to keep them seperate. Go every year and would recommend. more

This company, if based in England would be prosecuted on many counts, not least of all under the trade descriptions act.. The hotel is an absolute disgrace! The staff are unhelpful in the extreme. Amongst many failures they failed to book a hire car (although we booked one within 10 minutes) and were not even able to book a taxi... more

It's a large hotel in the middle of Sliema. We had an appartement room (incl. kitchen), which was quite spacious for the price and had a balcony. You have to walk approx. 10-20 minutes to the restaurant/shopping/sight-seeing places at the beaches. Everyone is so polite, there's always someone on hand when you need one. Many of the people speak English, Maltese, Italien, French and often many more languages.
