We have just returned from a 10 day stay at the Preluna Hotel in Sliema, Malta. On arrival at 12.30pm we were given a glass of fresh orange, however we were not able to check in until 2pm, this surprised us as checkout is 11am. Our bags were placed in the baggage room and we were able to go out... More

looking at previous reviews I think I can say that this review is about the Hotel and not the Travel Company I booked with and which incidently was Chevron, a smaller Company, excellent in every way. My wife and I had a sea view room on the ninth floor and it was excellent. It was clean, well furnished and a... More

We got married at the Preluna hotel on the 4th July in the sky room. The Preluna hotel went above and beyond to making it a lovely day we will always cherish. Could not thank Mark one of the managers and Christabelle for taking the time to contact us and ask for a meeting to ensure everything on the day... More

Wow,wow, wow, where do I start? I have been visiting Malta for over 40 years and have never experienced such contempt with regards to my complaint. Or even the lack of contact from a travel company rep. Thomas Cook, on this occasion. I arrived at the hotel today, expectations of a lovely room. Paid a lot of money for sea view... More

We returned earlier this week from a further visit to the Preluna Hotel, Malta. It is, I believe, almost impossible to review the hotel without making reference to its general setting within the area as when it comes to making recommendations (or otherwise), the surroundings may be of great importance. The island of Malta, to my mind, is an absolute... More

As above plus rooms were clean, service was great, plenty to do. Pool and sea location was great. Only drawback was the hall smelt of smoke and pool bar food was over priced. We had a lovely time drinking wine in happy hour, eating the free peanuts and singing oh Danny boy....

Stayed a week at the Preluna with family celebrating a 60th birthday. The hotel was lovely, very clean and the staff were fantastic - nothing was too much trouble for them. We asked at reception if they could arrange a birthday cake to be made for us to present with our evening meal - this was superbly organized by both... More

Stayed at the Preluna for 4 nights in June. The photo on the website and in travel brochures is slightly misleading as it shows the newer Preluna Towers part of the hotel. Our room was on the 2nd floor in the original part of the hotel and while quite spacious and clean was a bit tired. Having said that the... More

The rating system needs reviewing. This hotel offers many things to earn its star rating. Yes it's clean and staff friendly but If you provide air con, leave instructions on operation. I was in room 6204. It was noisy, confusing to use If you provide a tv don't make it the smallest tv in the world. I'm sick of TVs... More

Arrived at the hotel and still standing at reception with issues needing resolved. We had booked two rooms on a high floor in the refurbished part of the hotel, in January. Yes that's over 6 months ago. Guess what. We arrived and the rooms are on different floors. With small children that is utterly unacceptable. Offered upgrades to compensate but... More
