I knew about this hotel Preluna from my friends who stayed there last summer also in July and I was pleasantly wonder when I came to this hotel. I came at 9 a.m. and my was ready at 12 instead of 2 p.m. I have my towel card immediately and go to the beach. Friendly and helpful staff told me... More

I had never been to Malta before, and booked the Preluna on the internet without really being too aware of location, etc, so therefore wasn't expecting too much. I was very pleasantly surprised! The hotel is on the seafront, right opposite the bus stop into Valetta and a few yards from the bus stop up to St Julians. The reception... More

Being the third hotel I had stayed in one day (overbooked, then rubbish) I ended up in the Preluna, and thank god for small mercys. I was quite cranky when i arrived due to other hotel mix ups, but they all faded away thanks to the welcome I got from the front office staff ( I think they had heard... More

I have entitled this review a nice hotel because that's exactly what the Preluna Hotel is. Nice hotel, nice friendly helpful staff, especially the reception, though not so much the older male waiters and chefs who always seemed to look a bit grumpy, nice room and nice food (though we only had breakfasts). My wife and I chose this hotel... More

Have been here for the last 5 days and really enjoying our relaxation time. Cannot fault the hotel as everything has been great till now. Was really impressed with the Japanese Restaurant called Sakura and will surely return and also write a review about it. Recommend that you try it out and yes it does stand out.

The room is very small. We booked at travel agency a room with a view of the sea or city but we have got none of it. Our room should have had a balcony but we seen none of this. There are some strange sounds coming from the end of the room and we had problems with insects. We had... More

Stayed 1-8 July. Check-in a bit slow but all fine. Room clean and comfortable if a bit dated. Stayed on AI basis and food was plentiful, good quality and variety. Odd wine available at lunch/dinner to AI guests but had to pay for it at bars!? Sky room bar lovely in the evening but was only outside bar and entertainment... More
