On one of the last days in Malta we wanted to visit Marsaxxlok. After nearly 2 hours of bus rides (from Bugibba) we stood at the main square and Werke amazed. As we were hungry we wanted to enjoy some lunch at Duncan. The first thing we noticed was the friendly owner. We felt very comfortable and two of us... More

We stayed at Duncan's for 8 nights and we really liked the accommodation. If you are looking for a quite location outside the crowded areas and you have a car this is the right spot. It's located in the centre of a fishermen village. The accommodation we had was spacious with a balcony facing the harbour. The room is simple... More

We stayed there for a week, the room was big and clean with a nice view of the port with all the coloured fishing boats. The area is calm and very picturesque. The owner has a bar-resto on the ground floor so it was easy to get anything to eat or drink or just to have a chat about Malta.... More

Watching the fountains in Mansfield market square back in the UK reminded me that I still had to add a review for our 10 days at Duncans in May. Not that there’s any other comparison between our home town and lovely Marsaxlokk. This was our first trip to Malta and we didn’t want anywhere too touristy, after lots and lots... More

The location in the fishing village is great. The local buses cost just 1.5 euro per day and you can hop on and off of them as often as you like and they come about every 10 minutes. On top of that the bus drivers were very friendly and would shout when it was time for us to get off.... More

We stayed in the Pent House for 12 nights in May and had a fantastic vacation. Michael Baldacchino (owner) couldn't do enough for us. A warm welcome and a cup of tea. The service was outstanding. All rooms at Duncan's are entered with an electronic fob. Very secure. A modern lift was available right outside the Pent House door. There... More

We stayed in the penthouse apt., which was clean and well laid out. The towels were changed daily and the bed linen every few days. There are 10 rooms in this guest house all with different number of beds. The very efficient owner Micheal Baldacchino is on hand daily and attends to everything immediately. There is Wifi on every floor... More

We had stayed in Valletta for 4 nights prior to coming down to stay at the Duncan for 3. We hired a scooter for duration of our stay, a great way to get about and see so much more of the island. From the moment we arrived Michael gave us a warm welcome along with a cup of coffee. We had... More

We were absolutely blown away by the hosiptality that was shown to us by Michael, David, John and Lewis. They could not have been more friendly and helpful. Ours was only a two night stay and it was with immense regret that we left this beautiful corner of marsaxlokk. We were collected at the airport - shown our beautiful, clean,... More
