Just back from a weekend in Lettermacaward, stayed with Anne and Rainer, the best hosts you could find. Both were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was a hassle. Rooms are lovely and the view is just gorgeous. B&B is about 2 miles from Lettermacaward, and about 10 min drive from the beautiful Dooey Beach. Would highly recommend. Can't wait to... More

Came back home from my first trip in Ireland there are a lot of places that I will be missing and some that will make me return, one of them is certainly the Eagle's Nest. We have been so lucky in discovering this B&B. The place is amazing, surrounded by the wild and astonishing beauty of Donegal, in front of... More

We recently returned from our first trip to Lettermacaward. We visited for a wedding and were very lucky indeed to stay with Anne and Rainer in their lovely B&B while there. The B&B is situated on a winding road on the side of the Atlantic. The scenery is spectacular, and location wonderful but what really impressed me was the hospitality.... More

What an absolutely charming experience it was staying with Anne, Rainer and their spirited dog. The location is quiet, beautiful and serene - overlooking Gweebarra Bay. My room was clean and comfortable. The en suite was really nice, too. Breakfast was outstanding and the conversation with the hosts....superb. Anne is such a dear, sweet person. Full of interesting anecdotes and... More

We stayed at Eagles Nest last weekend. We needed to go to Donegal to meet some friends and generally find it hard to find a nice place at reasonable cost. We were a family of two adults and four children. We found the place to be a dream. Anne and Rainer run the bed and breakfast. They are both from... More

A beautiful location overlooking the sea and run by two absolutely charming people. Anne and Rainer did everything possible to make our stay very pleasant. We booked the self-catering apartment and in truth were a bit concerned about the kitchen facilities. The problem was immediately solved by Anne saying we could use anything from her kitchen, including the kitchen itself.... More

We went to Co. Donegal for our holidays and stayed in the Eagle’s Nest for a while. We chose this B&B for several reasons: 1. This is a dog friendly accommodation. I mean real dog friendly, not like some other places call themselves "dog friendly" and you can only bring a small dog or you need to pay extra. We... More

Eagle's Nest is the best B&B I've been so far. Anne is the nicest person and brilliant hostess. Rooms are very clean and everything is in harmony. All details in the rooms make you feel comfortable and at home. Breakfast was delicious and I could also buy few jars of my favourite rose petal jelly! You can also get variety... More

I stayed two nights at this lovely B&B. Anne is a great hostess and took such care of me. I wasn't feeling well when I was there and she was so attentive and helpful. The room I stayed in was comfortable, beautifully appointed and so airy with lots of windows looking out to the river. The location is rather remote... More

Father emigrated to Scotland early last century. Visit to trace a bit more of roots. Ann the host could not have been more helpful and friendly. This more than made up for what otherwise would have been SMALL minuses. Breakfast really good choice. Would definitely return next pilgrimage.
