For those of you who read the poor reviews first I have marked this as poor to highlight and correct some misunderstanding re this hotel. All reviews are correct in every regard, minus the comments re staff. Yes it's not a 4 star as we know it or expect [am a luxury traveler], but it has a quaint charm, lovely... More

We'd stayed on Gozo five times before so knew the island pretty well. You need to know what to expect when you stay on Gozo as it's much quieter than Malta itself. The Cornucopia Hotel is in the village of Xaghra (pronounced Shar-ra). It overlooks Marsalforn which is no more than 10 minutes drive away and the nearest coastal 'tourist'... More

It’s a wonderful quite place and an amazing rest, away from any gadgets, with nice views country and sea side. Service and hospitality from all the stuff is incredible. B’fast was tasty; lot to choose from, hot and cold beverages good quality. Last but not least we had a lovely suite room with large shower and bath. I recommend this... More

Really a fine place to relax, close both to Marsalforn and Ramla Bay. Very clean both the rooms and the common area including the swimming pools. The employees are very kind and professional. Good food and beverages. Room furniture and especially the AC system need urgent refurbishment.

Just returned from our visit to this hotel which is an old farmhouse conversion with lovely surroundings and views. Room was very spacious with plenty of storage. Bottled water in mini bar upon arrival. Aircon was an issue, was just blowing out hot air and the fan on the ceiling not very good either. Pools great however the noise from... More

We've just got home from a lovely 7 night stay at the Cornucopia. The staff are incredibly hard-working and can't do enough for you. I highly recommend going to the poolside BBQ that is held on Friday nights, there was so much food and a great live band too. We booked our transfer and car hire through Gozo Garage which... More

A lovely, quiet hotel with friendly, courteous and very helpful staff. We were half board and ate in the restaurant on all but one evening, when we went to the feast of our lady of perpetual help, in Kercem. The food was great and plentiful (especially the BBQ on Friday night) for breakfast, dinner and the occasional lunch. Lovely pools... More

The hotel is at the outskirts of the small village Xaghra, where the world’s oldest free-standing prehistoric temples “Ggantija” are situated. We had a comfortable room that was located in a windy corridor, yet it included a sunny terrace with a very nice panoramic view on the surroundings. It was a pity that the double bed was too narrow for... More

Family holiday in one of the bungalows opposite the hotel. Fantastic views and facilities. Breakfast was awesome with hot and cold food and as much choice as you could ever want. Hotel restaurant really good and service from ALL the staff was brilliant. Every one of them said hello and seemed happy in their work including the maids. Maria in... More

A lovely hotel , where the staff do everything to please and are always smiling. We had half board and the food was plentiful and tasty. Our room was 'inland facing' which sounded uninviting but actually we had a lovely view of the sea at Maselform and over the land to the Rotunda. Lovely pools and plenty of loungers.
