I went to the Calypso Hotel on the 9th Sept 14. One of the best 3 star Hotels that I have ever stayed in. Staff excellent, hotel very clean and food was very good. Entertainment the best I have seen in a 3 star hotel. Location very good near shops, bars and restaurants. Beach is about 15 -20 min walk,... More

There are a lot of positives going for the Calypso, excellent location right on the harbour side, nearby beach, roof top pool with glorious views. The rooms are spacious enough, clean and well maintained, guests fortunate to be allocated a room at the front of the hotel can enjoy the open sea view from their balcony, but they will need... More

My wife and I have visited Marsalforn twice before so we knew the town and had seen the Calypso from outside, so we knew broadly what sort of building to expect. We usually try to avoid larger hotels but were very happy that circumstances were such we decided it was best to book to stay here rather than rent an... More

We have been visiting this hotel from time to time for many years and certainly there have been big improvements in its presentation and general apparance in recent times. The place is reasonably well appointed and rooms are clean. Advantages of the Calyso are its position - rooms at the front have extremely good views over the bay of Marsalforn,... More

We stayed six nights here again in September this year. The hotel has lost some of its prestige and organization has deteriorated.Last year it was v. good but minor irritations have been its downfall.Restaurant staff were very good especially Joe Salina who was very efficient and attentive. However the beds were hard and the sheets didn't fit the mattress, we... More

We stayed for a week and loved every minute. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. There is much to see and do on Gozo and you need never be bored! Using the local bus service was cheap and easy and opened up the area for exploration.

All staff were friendly and efficient from front of house, to restaurant ( esp Manuel) to housekeeping. Great choice at breakfast. Lovely evening meals on the rooftop after a short stop at the rooftop bar. Rooms spacious and clean. Balcony to the front gave views over the harbour. Efficient air conditioning. Access for all via ramps or lifts. Well informed... More

We have just returned from a weeks diving in Gozo. We stayed at the Calypso hotel in Marsalforn. The hotel was spotless and the rooms comfortable. The wifi in the rooms wasn't great, but you were able to get a good reception in the lobby and in the sunset bar on the rooftop. The staff were very helpful and friendly,... More

We stayed a week in Gozo's relaxing and peaceful Calypso Hotel and we loved it! The staff was attentive and helpful. From our balcony we had a great view of the Marsalforn bay which is full of nice restaurants. The room was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was fine even if the the provided fruit juices were poor and... More
