Second visit to this B & B and will be booking 3rd shortly. Lovely hosts, very friendly - great for couples and family. We have a 7 year old and a 1 month and still had plenty of room even with all their stuff in our room (blue room). Close to 2 nice country pubs and lovely area to walk... More

We came down to enjoy the Wickham folk festival and were looking for a convenient B&B close by to Wickham. Happily (for us) we landed inTitchfield, which is just a short drive from Wickham and a perfect location. What made it even better was to have the opportunity to stay with Richard and Teresa in Abbey house. All the other... More

My partner and daughter have recently stayed here and really enjoyed ourselves. Fab hosts, very welcoming/lovely reception. Great family room with tea making facilities, great choice for breakfast with variable times available. Overall a lovely stay highly recommended and we will certainly be back. A star

We were looking for somewhere near to Knowle Village, and we wanted the flexibility of access to our room as one would a hotel. All I can say is what a find, we didn't arrive until nearly 21.00 and Richard (the owner) was there to meet us and explain what was relevant to us at that time. Breakfast in a... More

Abbey House really is a b&b that should be seriously considered if you are looking for accommodation in the area , set in beautiful gardens in a really peaceful village , it's a breath of fresh air. Unfortunately I have been unable to sample what I'm sure is a great breakfast due to leaving very early for work , but... More

Richard and Teresa were very friendly and made us feel most welcome. The room was spotlessly clean and we had a fantastic sleep. Breakfast was delicious, a great feast to start our day and we really enjoyed the local area and convenience of this location to a range of attractions for us. It began as a bse for local business... Had a wonderful stay, great location as we were staying for a friends' BBQ. Had looked at the Holiday Inn but was really expensive, so found Abbey House instead. Hosts were so friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Lovely breakfast, given just what you asked for and extra toast provided. Beautiful room, we had the one with our own bathroom... More

Had an excellent time when staying at the Abbey House. The house was clean, well presented and the couple were very friendly and informative. The bed was very comfy and the en suite bathroom was very clean. Although food was not provided in the evening (obviously as it is a B&B) the owners told us of a few pubs around... More
