We were so fortunate to get the Towner suite, the top floor of this lovely home in the pretty town of Listowel. There's a kitchette and lots of attractive, well-cared for old furniture, plus a gas fire place. The queen bed is comfy, plus there's also a single bed. The bathroom looks brand new, large, clean and warm, with a... More

What a fabulous weekend away with the Scrapbooking girls. Faye and Ty were exceptional hosts. The food is fabulous and homemade. If you need a place to stay in Listowel, make sure you check out this home full of warmth and character.

We were in town for a wedding, and although we only stayed 1 evening, what a fabulous Victorian home. Beautifully and lovingly restored by the hosts, Tye and Fay were excellent hosts, providing a tour of the home as well as the history. We were a party of 6 people so we had booked the Lilico Room and the Walker... More

Enjoyed our stay at Hardwood Haven. The location was perfect and the house was immaculate. Faye and Ty served a fantastic breakfast including home made muffins and preserves. The fellowship at breakfast was delightful and we would definitely recommend this B & B to those travelling to the area. Great stay. Linda G and Louise T

Fay & Ty were gracious hosts welcoming us to their B&B. Fay gave us a tour of their home which they had done a remarkable job at converting to a B&B. They maintained its character and were very knowledgeable on the past history of the house. We stayed in the Walker room which was very comfortable. The only downfall is... More

Ty and Fay are gracious and friendly hosts. Our room (Lilico) was just as shown on website and nicely furnished. The makeover of the house to a B&B is truly remarkable and very comfortable to stay at. The bathroom with clawfoot tub, and separate shower in a converted bedroom was great. Ty & Fay went out of their way to... More

Very friendly.beautiful house love it can't wait to stay again. Amazing rooms and the owners were super friendly. They kept the history to the house as well as some updated things. I was the only one there, so they were kind enough to let me pick which room I wanted to stay in, as well as ask which time I... More

An absolutely beautiful old Victorian home, decorated in traditional style. Large, beautiful rooms and private baths for each room - claw foot tub in one bathroom. Full breakfast available. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. 5 minute walk from downtown Listowel. Groom rented the entire B&B for the wedding party and it was an amazing experience - beautiful place for... More
