Nothing fancy. Seems oriented to tours. Breakfast buffet is cold with no cooked options. Finding someone when you need help is challenging. No one was ever at the front desk. During our 3-day stay the bathroom water was off for several hours just as I wanted to pop into the shower. I got dressed, went downstairs, and the manager showed... More

This was by far the worst hotel we stayed in during our wonderful Iceland trip. It's a move 'em in and move 'em out kinda of hotel. The breakfast was the worst we had throughout our trip, our room was on the bottom floor overlooking the parking lot!!! We heard buses and cars throughout the night. Also the shower was... More

Decent place to stay while touring eastern Iceland. Clean, bright accommodations. Nothing fancy here, but a comfortable place to hang your hat. Decent breakfast buffet, honor bar in the lobby and comfortable, spacious area to relax and converse with fellow travelers.

This hotel was comfortable but a little spartan in decor. The room was large, bit the bathroom was minuscule with no room on the sink to store your stuff. The shower door swung in against the wall when not in use. Staff was helpful and the food was good. They was a large choice for breakfast. We had a room... More

This was a very nice hotel with a very spartan room with an archaic TV. The breakfast buffet had only cold selections to choose from. The darkening curtains were not large enough to fully cover the windows. The drinks at the bar during happy hour were good and cheap! It is within walking distance to the harbor and most everything... More

after long days of touring, it was nice to come back to this contemporary, spotless and bright hotel. the beds were very comfortable and the fact that the shower and toilet were in different areas was a nice touch. one of our favorite hotels in all of iceland. more luxurious than most.

We really liked this hotel - our first in Iceland. Didn't look great from the outside, grey and rather bleak, but was lovely on the inside. Welcoming, clean, large comfortable rooms, good size bathroom and overlooking sea or countryside. Food was excellent, we had set meals as part of our package, but had no complaints, all meals were excellent. My... More

This hotel was large and modern , not particularly attractive to look at but in a stunning setting and convenient situation .The room was fine, everything we needed and was clean. Disappointed not to have a better view, some rooms must look out over the sea, ours at the front looked over the town although you could see the sea... More

This is a fairly large hotel for the size of the town, and it obviously gets most of the tour bus trade. In spite of that, it was quite quiet most of the time and had everything we needed - we stayed two nights, and used it as a base to explore the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. Our room was a good... More

This hotel apparently in the middle of nowhere is an amazing place to stay while you visiting Snæfellanes or around. The rooms are so gentile decorated and the view is just spectacular. Many Tv channels while you're relaxing and is a big plus because many hotels in Iceland just have a few channels very bad. I like everything here and... More
