This was a very nice hotel with a very spartan room with an archaic TV. The breakfast buffet had only cold selections to choose from. The darkening curtains were not large enough to fully cover the windows. The drinks at the bar during happy hour were good and cheap! It is within walking distance to the harbor and most everything... More

after long days of touring, it was nice to come back to this contemporary, spotless and bright hotel. the beds were very comfortable and the fact that the shower and toilet were in different areas was a nice touch. one of our favorite hotels in all of iceland. more luxurious than most.

We really liked this hotel - our first in Iceland. Didn't look great from the outside, grey and rather bleak, but was lovely on the inside. Welcoming, clean, large comfortable rooms, good size bathroom and overlooking sea or countryside. Food was excellent, we had set meals as part of our package, but had no complaints, all meals were excellent. My... More

This hotel was large and modern , not particularly attractive to look at but in a stunning setting and convenient situation .The room was fine, everything we needed and was clean. Disappointed not to have a better view, some rooms must look out over the sea, ours at the front looked over the town although you could see the sea... More

This is a fairly large hotel for the size of the town, and it obviously gets most of the tour bus trade. In spite of that, it was quite quiet most of the time and had everything we needed - we stayed two nights, and used it as a base to explore the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. Our room was a good... More

This hotel apparently in the middle of nowhere is an amazing place to stay while you visiting Snæfellanes or around. The rooms are so gentile decorated and the view is just spectacular. Many Tv channels while you're relaxing and is a big plus because many hotels in Iceland just have a few channels very bad. I like everything here and... More

This hotel was pretty basic, but on the whole a very OK place to spend a couple of nights. The shower was a bit interesting (kind of a swinging glass door, inevitable water on the floor, but on the plus side we had lots of hot water and we figured it out), the lobby/common areas were a bit utilitarian, the... Ver good if you want a hotel in Iceland with your own bathroom and shower, which is located near the swimming pool and golf course, and relatively near the ferry and the harbour. We had a room in the new section--very nicely furnished and attractive enough. Very clean...the beds were good. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice,... More

This is the best property in town! It just a short walk down the hill to a supermarket and pizza restaurant. I had room 311 which I loved. It had a straight-view of the beautiful, modern church and the water. Odd number rooms 301 to 313 have this view. Room 314 also has this view, but it is next to... More

My group of Canadians spent last night in this lovely hotel. I want to recognize the special services of the receptionist who offered to drive fifteen of us to our dinner reservation in the center of this small town because of the pouring rain. She made four trips to take all of us downtown in her car. Above and beyond... More
