Very nice staff. Good food in restaurant. Room was comfortable--small things making it very cozy. Shower spacious and super clean. A good location -- right in town and a short walk from the black sand beach. Next door to another restaurant that also seemed popular--and Tourist Information. Decent breakfast too.

I stayed one night in the hotel. The guesthouse was full, so I paid about $150, but that was less than their usual rate for the high season and I appreciated the discount, since I walked in off the street at about 6 PM. I felt very welcomed by the kind lady at the desk. She was also generous with... More

July is prime time in Iceland and we didn't get our plans together for trekking out of Reykjavik until 3 days before. But we thought that Vik would be a good location for two nights to see the glaciers, etc and we searched for available rooms. Hotel Lundi was what was available in Vik for $250 per night; pretty typical... More

Good place to stay on the South coast of Iceland. The hotel is quite and the restaurant very good. The rooms are well equiped with free wifi. Your are not so far from Dirolahey, the beach of black sand of Vik or even from Skogarr. Good advices from the staff for the visits. Not so expensive for Iceland

We spent a night in this tiny hotel last year. Our room had a private bathroom but we found it pretty small and furnishings were quite old. Breakfast buffet was limited in choices and the same restaurant also serves some Icelandic cuisine for dinner. There are some restaurants, cafes, bars and shops within walking distance. Check-in staff was helpful when... More

If you stay in the main hotel, you'll pay $150 for a room. If you ask for the old building, it'll cost you $70 for a single, half that if you're sharing. Rooms are tiny, but recently remodelled, so clean and smell new. Toilets and showers are shared, but that's how it's done here. Meals are fancy high-end. Not much... More

We were stuck in Vik late March 2013 when heavy snow closed all the roads out. The hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful. We were made to feel most welcome to stay until things improved - a never ending supply of weather reports and coffee helped too. We couldn't escape on the day we had planned so an extra... More

We stayed here in early October. Due to the weather we had to stay an extra night and the hotel staff were very helpful in helping arrange this with minimal notice. As with most places in Iceland, English was spoken to a high standard. The hotel is located right in the town, a few minutes from the beach. The rooms... More

a good hotel, renovated rooms but with charm of the old good times. The owners are a very nice and helpful people, wiling to make your stay happy. They are doing renovation at the moment, so in the next summer will be a nice terrace to chill out. Great food and the best of all is the nice and very... More

I stayed there for a night a couple of days ago and i was not disapointed with anything. The place was clean and the bed comfortable. I also ate at their restaurant where i had the lamb meat soup, which was really good
