There is nothing to highlight. It was the only available in dozens of miles around with the category of “hotel”. This is the only reason I booked it in the first place. Vik is relatively picturesque and definitely worth a stop to see the black beaches. The hotel is modern but basic. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are minute. Clean, simple, good breakfast, great FREE Internet access via computer in dining room. Walking distance to good public swimming pool and small supermarket. more

We stayed one night at the Hotel Edda - Vik. The Hotel was very plain with a private bath in each room, but very serviceable. The rooms were clean. The breakfast buffet was good. We would stay there again as it was a convenient location to Dyrholaey, Skogar and glaciers. more
