I have been all over the world and this is on of the best i have been to. The service was great and the food was out of this world. The room was very clean and the location was great. It was a beautiful place to stay at and i like it was in the country side but still just... More

When we checked in we were told that we were in one of the "holiday cottages", not the hotel, which sounded great but actually meant that we were in a scruffy hut away from the main hotel. Our first concern was the appearance of the cottage from the parking space. The door was actually round the back, and the front... More

This is a small not fancy, but new, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped. There were toys for children. The driveway is a bit rough. The view is great. It is nice and quiet and the restaurant is more like a big farmhouse kitchen. The family is preparing the meal while you watch and the food was delicious.... More

I really enjoyed this guesthouse. The room was a good size with nice big windows with a picture perfect view of the sunset (that lasts until midnight!). The guesthouse serves dinner with a reservation and was very willing to meet dietary preferences. I'd recommend it for friends.

We were a little concerned as we drove up towards a rather dilapidated farm building and then it was strange to take your shoes off at the door but.... The owner was very welcoming and friendly and our rooms and ensuites were clean, modern and a very good size. We chose to eat in Vik in the evening (an easy... More

The family that runs the Guesthouse left a 'passive' impression (The lady jumped up from the couch at the reception, after we had gotten back in for a forgotten invoice). We could not leave our impression behind that this overly expensive B&B (run besides the farm) is just 'about the money'. Breakfast was okay, however no interaction with the man... More

We stayed here for one night in May, booked by our travel agency. It's located a short distance from Vik, probably on some farm as there was the manure smell when we stepped out of the car. The guesthouse itself has no signage, just look out for a building with a dining area with full length windows. Before you stepped... More

We spent one night here and it was one of the nicer places we stayed in during our week in Iceland. It's modern and clean and the staff was friendly to us. We had a two bed room with private bathroom. There was enough space in the room and also in the bathroom. The rooms have a book with some... More

My boyfriend and I arrived at this guesthouse one day earlier than expected but the host continued to treat us with kind hospitality. She provided us with breakfast and gave us towels to take a shower even though it was much earlier than the usual check in time. The room we were given was spacious and had a nice view... More
