As our first night in Iceland I wanted to stay somewhere close to the Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls. Just outside of Vik this little farm hotel did just that trick. It offered a warm comfortable, clean room with shared bathrooms. Offered good value and nice views. They provided breakfast in the morning and a walk around the ground make you... More

Ultra friendly hosts. Clean and very comfortable rooms. Incredible location, rural. Awesome breakfast and dinner. Value for money. Nice and spacious cabin. Free WiFi. And again really really nice and helpful hosts! Close to a variety of stunning landscapes.

Our room was functional but meaningless. In the bathroom we found a "dry-glass" to drain the water from the shower... A bit 'far from Vik.Tthe service and friendliness of the staff are to be improved as well as breakfast where we hadn't noticed anything homemade. When we arrived, by the time of check-in, there was nobody at the reception and... More

Stayed here as part of our road trip to Iceland. The b&b is tucked away off a side road of the main highway and is a nice looking farmstead. On arrival, the lady who checked us in was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are slightly lower spec than the UK equivalent of a travel lodge or premier inn; except... More

This place was situated in a pretty location (but then what location isn't pretty in Iceland?). But for the amount of money you pay, it really isn't worth it. Having said that, I'm pretty sure that all guesthouses in the area are about like this. Perhaps this is one of the better ones, I'm not sure. The room smelled like... More

Beautiful setting, clean room with amazing view, soft linens, great shower, and horses right there! We didn't get to ride, sadly, as it rained heavily during our time, but what a wonderful opportunity. The horses looked well-fed and -cared for. The family was very friendly and pleasant, and dinner was great, a really delicious halibut. I will be staying here... More

We stayed here one night during a tour of southern Iceland. It's close to Vik - 10-15 minutes from the town and right off of the Ring Road. The view is beautiful from the guesthouse. We felt quite welcomed by the family, and I enjoyed having the family and the little children around. It gave it a homey atmosphere. We... More

First of all, we had difficulties finding the guesthouse as it was not in Vik as indicated by the address and information on several websites. Instead, it was located approximately 20km west of the village in a very rural area. Though, the sourroundings of the gueshouse were beautiful. On first sight, the guesthouse looked very nice and clean but during... More
